Ok here it goes
I got tired of the way I look , And the way I felt , I didnt have the energy to want to get up and do nothing And I loved the outdoors and doing all kind of stuff but just couldnt get myself to do what I use to love.So I went to a place called weight wise I get a injection once a week called Myoden, My starting weight that day was 191.8 boy was I surprized to see that number I avoided scales , so i really didnt know what I weighed. well the first week I lost 7 lbs , That really got my spirits up to say You can do this girl .I watch what I eat I weigh my food or I eat the dinners like Healthy Choice ( which are really good ) and a few of the other ones that way I know exactly how much calories I am eating and fat grams , But I know I cant eat that kind of food al the time . And my family eats out a lot on the weekends so its a struggle to watch what I eat But I guess I am doing good so far I have lost a tottaly of 20.6 lbs . I would love to have it come off faster but I know if it comes off to fast it probably wont stay that way .
My 2 biggest problems so far is drinking water and the exercise thing . I have a hard time finding the time to exercise I cant walk because I have a3 year old and cant bring her with me I try and do some strenghtening because I know muscle burns more fat .
I have gotten to spot right now where I really need support and encouragment , And ideals on how to keep going and stuff like that , So I will get back later this evening with my total of what I ate today and see how everyone else did

Hey Tammy, thanks for joining us, and for caring so much about your health! 20lbs is a great loss so far!

I find a good place to start with water, is to get a big water bottle (either reuse a regular bottle from the pop/beverage aisle, or buy one of the designer hard plastic ones), and to fill it up at the beginning of the day, and keep it by your side as much as possible! After a while you'll find yourself noticing just how often you feel thirsty and before you know it, 80oz have gone down your throat without even noticing.

Ok its after lunch time and here is where I am at . I ate a Healthy Choice dinner Country herb chicken ?potatoes and veggies
280 calories
I small apple
55 calories
1/2 can diet Dr Pepper ( baby drank the other Half )
so thats it for now but not to sure about tonight suppose to go out with older daughter tonight and shop and eat out and she likes taco bell :eek: . So any suggestions on what to eat there Mexican food is my biggest weakness and I so miss eating that . :eek:

Hey Tammy! Just wanted to welcome you to the group! We are all here to support and motivate each other so if you ever need anything .. let me know!! For exercise you might try getting you a DVD so you can work out at home! For water.... I have the issue with the water too!! I by the Propel fitness water and drink 2 a day... The grape is really good! I also use the empty bottle and buy the Crystal Light Individual Packs ( I think there is 10 in a box and can be used for up to 20 bottles.... 1/2 packet at a time..) The orange is really good and the Raspberry my daughter loves!! I've never heard of the Myoden injection... Is it expensive?
 
Well I didnt go out shopping with my daughter tonight so I didnt have to worry about the Taco bell thing so this is what I ate today


B- nothing
S-quaker rice snacks apple cinnamon 8 mini cakes - 60 cal
L- country Chicken ( Healthy Choice) - 280cal
S- apple -55 cal
D- Grilled chicken breast - 130 cal
med backed sweet potatoe- 120 cal
1/4 cup of 2 % cheese on top of chicken -80 cal
1 tlbs of chunky salsa -- 10 cal
1 1/2 diet Dr pepper --- 0 cal
Total so far 735 calories and 15.5 grams of fat

I just might be able to sneak in a 1/2 cup of fat free Chocolate Ice cream at 80 cal :p

As for the Myoden injection it cost me 15 a week I go once a week for it and that is the only thing I get I dont want the diet pills or any thing else I am trying to get myself into a good eating habit that way when I get to my goal weight I can keep it off by myself. I know people that are taken this shot to and the still eat like the have always havethey are losing but when they stop its going to come all back on . I dont want to have to take this shot the rest of my life so while its helping me to lose its also helping me to get my mind set right ( I hope anyway :p ) Thanks for the welcome girls I so much apperciate it and hope to get to know all of you so much better in the very near future :eek:
 
Hello how is everyone doing ? Well I didnt do bad actually I think I didnt eat enough calories .

I had a salad
335 calories /with the fat free ranch
and no snacks been on the road most of the day
and for dinner i had
Smart ones
peppercorn filet of beef / mash potatoes--- 230 calories
did drink more water today and I love to eat ice had 3 glasses of that so thats it
565 in calories and 14 grams of fat total

But we are going to Fire Mountain tomorrow and the have steak and shrimp so You can bet I will make up for what I missed today :p

Well I knew I would make up for yesterday and boy did I . this is what I had .


about 5 peices of steak
3 bites of meat loaf
to many shrimp to count :(
and a piece of banana nut bread ( boy have I been craving that )
I totally didnt eat no veggies at all , Yeah I did half of a half of sweet potatoe:D
But after writing this down it really dont seem like a lotbut I know what I did eat had a lot of calories and fat grams , But you got to splurge sometimes ( them shrimp tasted soooooooooo good)

Well I did a little better today I ate better then yesterday And I even got some exercise in I got me one of them gazzels ( I know I didnt spell that right :rolleyes: ) and did about 30 min on it , they are pretty neat and real easy on the joints . .

B- nothing
L- grilled chicken breast
salad with about a tlbs spoon of ranch they didnt have fat free:(
Backed potatoe with about a tsp of sour cream and 1/2 tsp of butter
D- This is the one I am not happy about Grilled chicken salad with fat free dressing BUT I had 1 fried chicken wing I just couldnt resist smelled to good

I try to stay away from fried chicken because I love the skin on it and once I start I cant stop myself. So all in all I think I did pretty good not sure about the calorie count but I feel i did good. I weigh on Wed so we see how my weekend did as far as the weight lose goes .
I also have a Question can you lose inches with out the scale moving ?

Oh My.. I just love Chicken.. and the skin.. It has been about 2 mos since I've had anything like that so with all that grease i'd probley get sick! Tammy.. I'm looking forward to your weigh in on Wednesday! I just know your gonna do great! As far as your question goes.. I think you can lose a few inches without gaining/losing any because your gaining muscle. Have a great day tomorrow!
 
Thanks Christinanva, Yeah I hope I do good tomorrow a;ways good to see them numbers come down even if its just a pound :) . today was a so so day I didnt get any exercise in been on the go since this morning and cant now while everything is calmed down because dear Hubby is a sleep and that is where I keep my equiment at so Maybe some time tomorrow I can get a least 30 min in . Ok Here is what I had Today


L- shrimp salad with FF ranch
S-apple dipped in 1 tlbs lite cool whip Yummy
D- Weight watchers lasagna
1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
S- cup pears with a Tlbs of cool whip ( I know but its so good ):D

Yes the WW lasagna is good but I like Lean Cruisen ( shoot I cant get my mind to spell that word for nothing LOL ) better So far Healthy Choice dinners taste the best to me . Well I weighed today I lost 1.2 lbs since last wed, so that makes me 21.8 lbs:D .I did work out today i worked out watching Oprah :p


B- nothing

s- cup of pears
D- taco salad made with chicken and FF thoudand island with the backed doritoes chips / 1/4 cup 2 % sharp cheese I havent gotten any snack for this evening aint sure if I will or not

Congratulations!! Your doing great! I've lost some this week too but where i'm in the challenge I cant say how much!! I'm just dying over here to change my ticker!! lol... I mainly eat Lean Cuisine but I do like the Healthy Choice turkey and mashed potato's.. I will have to get a lasagna and try it though! My biggest weakness is Pasta! I just love that stuff.. i think i could live off of it if I had to! lol.. I hope your having a great day today! Thanks for the post that was sweet.. and besides.. that is what we are here for! Well I can say i didnt starve today LOL no exercise today , but my legs are not complaining thats for sure boy are my calfs of my legs screaming at me today:eek: .well heres my food for the day .


B-bowl of Honey bunches of Os /with banana's
L-Subways club sandwich
S-apple dippers from Mcdonalds My little one wont eat fries or them so I get them :D
D-Healthy Choice's Grilled chicken with smoke house BBQ sauce , veggieand rice
S-Apple parfait dessert ( yummy )

about 40 oz of water and 1 can of diet caffiene free Diet Dr Pepper so all together i think it was 1280 in calories and way to many fat grams well more then I like to eat

OK heres a Question do you think its better to eat less calories or less Fat grams ?
And does anyone count the carbs they eat and what about sodium

Hey tammy! Just stopping by to see how your doing! I think you should eat less fat grams because if you eat less caleries your body is going to go into starvation mode and not burn any fat! In my past experience a few weeks ago.. I was eating between 800-1000 caleries a day and not losing anything.. I started eating 1500 caleries a day and i seen a 2.5 lb. difference the following week!. I do not count the sodium in the food but I do not add anymore salt to what is already in the food. And I keep an eye on my Carbs.. I'm not counting them but I try not to eat alot of them. I dunno.. I hope this helps.. Have a great weekend!

Ok I have done so so this weekend Seems like weekends are the hardest to stay on track .

So here is my intake for the day And I got to say for everything that I have ate today I sure would have thought it would have been higher then it was

B-apple / 4 tbls of fat free coolwhip ( I didnt even no they made ff )
L-lean cuisine cheese lasagna/ chicken breast scaloppine
S-apple parfait
D- Lean Cuisine baked chickentenderloins with cornbread dressing and whipped potatoes
S- smart ones Double fudge cake this is one of the best cake I have ever eaten so good :p
and just because I could
I had a pineapple parfait these are some good desserts to you can still have your sweets and eat them to :D

Hey Sugar! I'm glad to see another newbie joining the ranks. Looks like you are doing great with your meals. I love those frozen meals.

I just read through your journal and was curious about what these shots are you are getting? Can you feel anything from them? What exactly do they do? I've been thinking of going to the doctor to get something, but I just don't know what. I'm very sensitive to stimulants and don't really even like drinking caffiene. Do the shots make you have the jitters? Just curious.

Anyhow, I, like you, need all the support I can get. haha Let's take it off together. whoo hoo!
 
Hey Tammy! I also have dial up too.. so I do know how much it sucks! I haven't ever tried the baked chicken tenderloins with cornbread dressing.. is it any good? I have one in my freezer.. but I hate trying things like that because what if i dont like it.. then I still have to eat it.. and after a few of those Southbeach meals I tried.. Ugh! I will not by them again! I love the Double Fudge Cake!!... Have you ever tried the Mississippi Mud Pies from Smart Ones? They are wonderful! I go 15 miles out of my way to get them!
