Weight-Loss Summer Solstice Challenge- Blue Team Thread

Weight-Loss
hey everyone!! Sorry I am a tad late gathering all the information, but I am at my father's house and have to do this all from my iPhone. I will be posting eliminations shortly. Kim- the deadline for weigh-ins is Friday at midnight est. Good job this week all of you!!

AS you're in the Eastern time zone like me, I assuming you mean midnight EDT--as many of us aren't in this time zone--like Felici who's 12hrs ahead of us..lol. But for those on the North American WEst coast, they have to update by 9pm Friday PDT. Just an fyi for those of you who find the whole time zone thing confusing.

here are the results of week 1, all the teams did amazing. Very close.
Red Team: 1.056%
Black Team: .918%
Blue Team: .803%
Felici: 2.11%
keepitoff83: 1.2%
Omega: 1.14%
Eldaweesda: 1.09%
heathercb04: .95%
Bikinibound: .45%
Jillzy_2008: .29%
Parkour: never checked in
bdubya00: never checked in

2 people never signed in from this team. But only 1 can be eliminated. I checked out Parkour's diary and Parkour stated that he would be weighing in today. But bdubya00 has only made 2 posts; and hasn't been active. So I will give Parkour another chance to stay in the challenge, however Parkour's weigh-in will not effect the team's weigh in this week.

Congrats to Felici for having the highest weight loss percentage for the week!

Im sorry to say that bdubya00 is eliminated this week from the blue team.

Thanks girls! I was pretty happy with that - it's not normal for me!! I do credit this challenge with getting me to put a bit more effort in here and there this week. However, I think my actual numbers week to week can be a bit random, so I can easily imagine putting in the same effort this coming week and losing .5 lb!! (Which would make me happy - but not be as much use here!! :))

Congratulations Blue Team! It looks like we are very much in the game here.

Yeah! Go the Blues!!

(I really am not too sure how the team thing works actually. Once we have everyone posting results every week, then will the team with the lowest percentage lose the member with lowest percentage?)

Here's a synapses:

Every week the teams weighs in with a fresh start. There are 3 teams. The team in first place will not lose anyone from that team. The other 2 teams will each lose the member with the lowest overall percentage.

Does that make sense??

Here are the results for the end of week 2

Black Team: .57% loss!
Blue Team: .22% Loss
Red Team: .007% gain

The breakdown:

Omega- 1.54% loss this week/ 2.67% total
Eldaweesda- .55% loss this week/ 1.64% total
keepitoff83- .48% loss this week/ 1.68% total
heathercb04- .48% loss this week/1.43% total
Bikinibound- .45% loss this week/ .9% total
Felici- .53% gain this week/ 1.58% total
Parkour- .9% gain this week/ 0% total
Jillzy_2008- never checked in this week.

Unfortunately Jillzy_2008 is eliminated this week. :angelsad2: Congrats to everyone!!!

haha that's a bit embarrassing but I promised I would be honest on this thing, next week should be better...I hope lol

Don't be embarrassed. Its not uncommon or anything. Everyone here has gone up. I personally lost 20 lbs... and then gained back 27 in the first year I was on here!!!

Parkour - if it makes you feel any better - I get a very skewed weight loss. I generally lose weight over a couple of weeks and then have a couple of weeks where I put on weight due to TOM. The main thing is that I get to be a little smaller for the next month.

I see that you are 220 pounds and 5ft 3. I am 5ft 3 too and I felt comparitively slim when I got down to 220 pounds. Dont be embarrassed - just keep on trying. We all know what it is to work hard for a weight loss that just doesnt happen straight away.
