I just go back from school and manged to put another 180 during lunch,so I am at 300 currently

At lunch I did 3 sets of 30, then 3 sets of 20, then a couple sets of 15
By the time I got to 15 my arms were pumped and tired and i could barely do the 15 without giving it my all.

Blah, consider yourself lucky I was at School
Next time we gotta do this on a weekend..then well see whats up

I said I could do 100, and I've done 80 so far - I know that puts me in the sissy girls camp, but hey ... I am a sissy girl - plus I'm old...

I have to shut down the computer but I will get in 20 more before I go to bed - and I am pretty proud of myself.

Great challenge! Maybe next year I'll get to 500....

Yo man, don't get all let down. i remember a time I could barely do 2-3 sets of 10 push ups

For some reason i can hardly do any push ups even tho i do bench presses all the time...its weird bench presses seem to have nothing to do with push ups allmost :eek: :confused:
 
Happy, you are not a sissy!!! you are on a fitness board, learning, and doing something for the betterment fo your health.

Sparrow wasn't the only girl--- and you are in the likes or her,,,, YOU SHOULD BE PROUD!!!

ALL of us here should feel good about how we are spending our time. We coule be discussing and entertaingin lots of other things, and we are working on our health.

That has got me motivated. My blood is pumping. If you can read my post above you can see my updates pretty much step by step.

So, my logs below. Just some comments.
I origionally forgot after 3.25 what I was doing. And then I remembered at 4.46. So basically I went on from there. But something bugged me the whole time I was doing this. I wanted to complete it in under 2 hours. So I knew I needed to do 40 more. No big deal right?

Anyway, I thought that would be easy, but then I had to go and eat dinner and it took half an hour. On the good side I had a rest. But really I felt fine even before that.

But at 6.20 when I did my pushups to reach 400 it started hurting. Like a bum. I literally spent about a minute doing the set. All the way to 500 was a struggle. Then I hit 500 with only a few minutes until the 2 hour mark hit. SO I told myself to pump out 40 more. So I added them to my log, but didn't click submit. And I opened up the clock on my computer. I managed to do 15, collapsed then did 5 over 30 seconds. Then I had 2 mins left. I had a minute break, did 10, then I literally felt dead. But I told myself to do more.

I had 30 seconds left and 5 more to do, so I dug in deep. I got to 539, and my arms and chest literally gave in. with 15 seconds left I punched out one more, and then thought "lets do 1 more. just one more". The first attempt left me on the floor. Then in the last second I managed to do one.

Jesus that has got me motivated. I can now feel sweat dripping down my face. From the last 40 pushups. It's never felt so good. It's not the fact I did 500 in 2 hours. Im sure Chillen could. But with the meal times, and my commitment only coming in the last second I learnt that you can make a difference, if you don't break mentally, even right at the end.

total may be 551. I think i miscounted in one of my earlier sets. But that takes the last 5 second story out of it ;)

THIS IS WHAT THI(S PLACE IS ALL ABOUT FOR ME!!!! We be bros man! when I got in the pool last night, I said the same thing--- time to dig deep!! My plan was to do this swim, and now these pushups aint taken that away!
