I just did the strength workout - it took me 25 min. to get it all done. I know I'm going to feel those "ABC's" tomorrow! Ouch!

Oh definitely. I did the toning this morning. I did extra reps too just to get in some extra min.
 
I thought they were kinda boring actually.. and got nothing out of them... '

even holding a 20lb dumbbell..

I went thru the entire alphabet.. and couldn't figure out the point :D other than it's good for balance
 
The ABCs absolutely slayed me the first time I went through them, but they've gotten easier. I can now actually do all five reps. I can definitely feel them in my leg muscles, though.

The chair thing, however, I can't manage. It just puts too much weight on my wrists, so I have to skip that one.

Really? You must have some killer thighs, because that's where I felt it the most. I was only holding 10 lbs. I did have my leg up higher though, so maybe that was it? I did find some of the other exercises in the "strength" section a bit lacking though.

I can't even do 5 reps - just once through the ABC's and I'm done. :) I can't do the chair thing as I have no chairs that are a good height. I did do push-ups though instead and some balance ball push-ups too (for good measure.)

The reach one just didn't do anything for me. It might work better if I had some weights in my hand. It definitely takes balance with the abc's.
 
Do you guys know if one can start this challenge anytime? I actually get the magazine and it starts talking about things to do in month 2 of the challenge.

I really would like to join a challenge, and since there are none on these forums atm I can participate in, I figure I can try the SELF one, if I can do it a month behind.
