Sadakie's Diary

Oat cookies sound a bit more'ish to me. Are you able to limit how many you have a day?

Well... I guess we'll find out later:leaving: But something like banana and oat cookies is satiating so I got my hopes up.

Hello, Sadakie! Good to meet you, and looking forward to reading more of your diary, smilies and all! :)

Hello :waving: I think I can provide smilies!

Yeah, allergies and a sensitive stomach are annoying but much better when I eat well. For me oat cookies are very tempting.

It's good choosing the 'right' food is helping :hurray:

Now I can wish you all a good morning :jump:

Hi Sadie welcome looks like you off to a positive start. I just checked LaMa BMi calculator and I have similar calorie allowance to you . My daughter is hoping to make some oat and date brownies Keto no bake type .

That sounds delicious! I´m still working on my banana allergy but if I ever get it under control I´m going to be begging for your recipe.

I'm interessted in that recipe :biggrinjester:
And welcome to this diary!

Nooooo, bananas, too? :svengo:

but it's nothing special ._. Just mixing oats, mashed banana and maybe some chocolate together and hoping it won't fall apart! :D

Ok. My autocorrect is all over the place, talking about doping the fall and living oats :rotflmao:

Ok. So I haven't baked any cookies and I blame getting up 'early'. It just makes me moody and tired getting up at 7am when I'm not able to sleep earlier then 1 or 2 am. :willy_nilly:
I know I could try going to bed earlier but... honestly my sleep's just messed up for years now and even getting up early for a few weeks or cutting out the caffeine from coke isn't fixing it, so... back to this again :willy_nilly:

Anyway. My breakfast:

1 slice of toast with margarine
A handful of walnuts
2 pears
~450cal

Haven't decided yet if eating 'early' (yes, I'll count anything before 11am as early now.) helps against me feeling sick in the morning or not. But it's at least a distraction while I'm trying to get my stuff together ^^'

For lunch I had some vegan mac alfredo which had about ~950cal

After that I finally went grocery shopping because I ran out of toast and bananas. So let's call the following a snack:
a banana
one can of soda
~400cal

And without any specific reason other than me wanting to finally try this salted cashew margarine I bought:
4 slices of toast; 2 with this margarine and two with something else. The margarine wasn't that special.
Also another bottle of soda (500ml).
While I'm writing I'm realizing the calories of the snack are also including the ones of this soda, so pardon me! :D
That means the toast was about ~350cal

So the total of the day: ~2150cal.

It could be worse :svengo: (I love this one.)

Forgot to count my steps today, but I cycled for about 30min each to get to work and back home :leaving:

:svengo: is my favourite of all the smilies :)
Here's to a good day *cheers* I don't much like the :beerchug: smilie. I need one with herbal tea or espresso coffee :)

Haha. There is nothing sophisticated about me. I do have a great teapot though, although it's not fancy. It's double-walled stainless steel with a mesh insert & really stays warm for aaages.

I grew up using those teapots and they're great. Was the margerine supposed to taste like cashews or was it just margerine made from cashew butter? Cashew milk? Margerine's normally made from oil so I guess I'm not sure what to expect?

The margarine is mostly sunflower oil but it had some cashew butter in it so I got my hopes up but it wasn't fancy enough for my expectations :svengo:
But I need to get new cashew butter next month... and cashews!

Ok. I'll call it sophisticated practical then! :rotflmao: Sounds like a really nice teapot :3

I didn't have to get up that early today, but I just got a headache most of the day and that was... is... really annoying. Also my neighbors decided to... I don't know... sack race in their flat? :banghead:

Anyway.
Breakfast:
4 slices of whole grain toast with the not fancy margarine
1 banana
~440cal

As a snack when I got back from work:
4 slices of toast, 2 with margarine and 2 with hazelnut chocolate spread
1 Apple
~500cal

For my dinner... I really, really wanted broccoli. Like... really really.

2 little red onions
carrots
broccoli
soy cream
black bean spaghetti
a tiny bit tomato paste
spices

Put them together and what have you got? An ~880cal meal!

Total: ~1820cal

And I may have a little problem with toast going on here... :leaving:

Toast is just so easy & quick! Do you cook bean mixtures up, like chille? A spicy bean mixture for breakfast would be filling.
I wonder what the neighbours were up to :svengo:

:D An amount of bread that's more calories than your breakfast just sounds like lunch to me. Maybe one slice would be a snack?

I like to just mix beans together and make a little chilli; just low on beans atm :svengo:

And I really don't know what the neighbors were up to. But like every move was making my room vibrating and that was really annoying x.x

Yeaaaah... I think it started out as a snack because of the apple and that's why I called it a snack altogether :rotflmao:
But... but the poor toaster wants to toast at least two slices!

___

I have weight myself today and it's at 86.4kg now, so 1kg less. Will it stay this way? We will see in the next episode!

Ok. Nothing special happened today. Took a walk outside in the 'morning' (past 11am :rotflmao:) and felt a little uncomfortable outside but it may have been because I still had a headache and it was a little warm.

Anyway.
Breakfast:
half of a honeydew melon
4 slices of toast with margarine and hazelnut chocolate spread (2/2)
a banana
~700cal

Later on as a snack:
rest of the honeydew melon
~160cal

"Lunch":
chocolate almond pudding
~440cal

Dinner:
4 slices of toast, two with margarine & two with a "cheesy" jalapeno spread
~420cal

And another banana after that!
~100cal

Total: ~1820cal
Steps today: ~9000

No soda: 2nd day.
>8000 steps: 1st day.
