even tho it can get to 60 in under 6 seconds it still wont beat a 1.6ltr mini cooper s on the track.

Nice! What a gift, I'm sure you deserve it :)

Manofkent, I do get crazy mileage on it, especially highway :) but I can't explain the liter thing LOL How many do you sit?

I hear you guys about the oversized vehicles. I guess Americans need everything big: big car, big house, big mac (hee he) big breasts

chris, 44 mpg! that's friggin crazy!!

Thats why I still drive it, the 44mpg, it maybe a crap car to look at etc, but it runs and runs and runs - plus insurance is pretty cheap on it too :)

But it sure does handle the twisties like a champ. I love driving it. I put full exhaust on it and an intake too....so it has some extra "pick-me-up."

After making a bit of a cheap coment about the size of american cars I thort I'd give you the oportunity to prove me wrong.

So, let all write what car we got,
how many seats,
size of engine
0-60 speed
and miles per gallon.

First off its been awhile MOK, welcome back.

93 Mustang GT
Seats 5 uncomfortably, 4 is better although I dont take more than 2
5.0L
1/4 mile in around 14
MPG not great, maybe 20 hwy
interesting thing is its got 86K original miles and I didnt buy it for its fuel economy, its a great car. I have a 91 Cavalier for better gas consumption.

I just drive a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix. It couldn't pull an old lady off a piss pot. Also whe it rains out heavy, I get a big puddle on my passenger side floor. But it gets me where I am going ........ usually

NICE lexus there. I am hoping to get an IS200 for my next car, but i'm studying for my degree at the minute so all i have at the minute is a '98 ford Escort. But not the US version which i really don't like.

I'm not sure of the 0-60 because it was a 1.8 litre to start with and is 9.2 seconds standard 0-60 in the book (115ps/118 lb/ft).

Now its a 2.0 Zetec in it (Silvertop) and runs approx the same speed as a Focus ST170 in a straight line.

Its a bit "boy racer" for some people lol. But i'm only 19, so its ok lol. It's not all tack though, it does have a Recaro Interior lol.

Wow, you guys have nice cars...

I have a 1993 Ford Aerostar minivan, turquoise.

It gets bad mileage and the side door is strapped on with a buckle strap.

But I love it, plus I move twice a year, so it's nice to have a van.

I go to school in Indianapolis and live in Northern Indiana in the summers, but I have an apartment in Indy nine months out of the year, so I'm always hauling furniture.

damn that sucks, im getting ready to move now, and i hate it...ive moved like 15 xs in my life so far...and i dont plan on doing it again until i have to move into my own house lol.
but getting a little off topic here...really love some of these cars...like stroutman's toys...haha very impressive!

Good heavens, what are these incredible cars for? I'm way too tight fisted for spending so much money on one.. I might take a look into the jobs thread, could be interesting actually..
