Evo great symmetry I can see where the power comes from now.

Thanks Scott. :) I don't really have huge physique goals, you know...a bit leaner at summer, a bit bigger during the winter. I appreciate the power comment as this is my main concern. I've found that the more weight I gain, the easier (although they're never easy) the implements get to throw. Undoubtedly summer will soon be around the corner and I'll prob have my 1 month "I want to get ripped" phase before I come to my senses.:p

Thanks Angelkae

That bug seems to go around right before summer

lol ya, the bug hit me for a while, cause I had plans to go to port A (the spring break place for Texas, kinda) but, they got canceled so it kinda left me, now Im starting to get it again for other reasons....I need help though:(

newest pics. i think im doing alright in terms of progress... but honestly i feel like im workin out hard and im not "beefin up" as much as i would like...

i think these may be the reasons why...
*stress has caused me to not sleep well for the past 2-3 weeks
*lack of fat in my diet (good fats, like peanut butter) [i heard good fats boost T levels big time)
*not eating something as SOON as I wake up
*lack of moderate intensity cardio

You know where your problems are which is good. Also, you need sat fat in your diet as sat fat has been linked to low T-levels in males. Shoot for 2 servings of sat fat per day, then consume your EFA's during your other meals.

Saturated fats? Raise testosterone levels?

Wolve, it looks like you've lost quite a bit of your midsection you were carrying in your last round of pics. Good job so far bro.

Wrong place to ask questions, and if someone doesn't answer your Q right away (A question that has been answered on this board many times before) don't go '??????????????' and expect someone to hop on it, someone will answer, calm yourself. A diet low in sat. fats induces a low test level, so a moderate sat. fat diet would assisit in keeping constant test levels.

mreik... we're gonna have a long talk about this adding mass... cause quite honestly, the bulking has been HORRIBLE lately (well, stress and lack of time to eat at key moments of the day have been killing me...)

Well the ????? worked for a fast response. The reason I wanted one is because im sure high saturated fats also have MANY negative affects. Someone not knowing this could start eating high in sat. fats, which is obviously not good.

Just about to go out on a bike ride:

I know it doesn't show me a whole lot but I used to have a much chubbier face, now it's a little pointier...sharper, cleaner cut if you know what I mean...

Why are there not more pictures of women showing off their hard work?? And I'm not talking about fake tits either. Anyone can buy nice boobs but a nice ass, nice legs....priceless.

What're your goals? Depending on what you mean by "beefing up," I'm not sure any of those things would be holding you back that much (save maybe lack of sleep). Sounds more like a potential case of overtraining to me - less might actually be more, backwards as it'll feel. Good you're thinking about your fats - if you're not supplementing with a fish oil capsule you should consider it, they're cheap and they'll do you all kindsa good. Breakfast is not to be missed of course, but it's not like waiting 10 minutes after waking is gonna deny you results. I'm skeptical that a lack of moderate intensity cardio is keeping you from beefing up either - why do you feel that way?

I'd say train hard but not long, do your best to get your rest (ever try meditating?), and make sure you're eating often and enough... and the beef should follow.

But that's just one newb's advice. :)

Ultimate goal: 215 lbs, 10% bf or lower.

ok about the problems... sleep has definitely taken a toll. but lately ive been getting much better sleep. I have been taking ZMA... i think that has helped a great deal.
My eating has been horrible in terms of timing... instead of 6 small meals, ive had to do the 2-3 big meals a day. plus i cant get in my 3 shakes a day, which is what i used to do, and that gave me GREAT results. and im outta cytogainer :(
sometimes i would wait an hour after waking up (cause of work to do)... that cant be good
i just bought some halibut liver oil pills. now i gotta go out and buy some organic peanut butter.

overtraining you say... AT MOST I'm in the gym weightlifting 4 times a week. Each session is at most 45 minutes long... like you said, hard and short. and ive done zip for cardio. my strength has gone up. AND... some ppl even think i got bigger.

lurie, you and mreik have really made me think... its diet right now thats the problem. due to exams, essays and stress, i haven't had the luxury to plan out my meals for the precise times of the day in which to eat. i guess im gonna have to save that til the summer.
