Phentermine scam to watch out for!

I recently got caught in a Phentermine scam, where the online pharmacy (247 Phentermine) assured me I could order phentermine without a prescription, Instead they sent me what the termed an "amazing non-prescription weight loss alternative,” which was nothing more than a Hoodia product. They charged me the full price of the Phentermine 30 day supply I had ordered, which was $89.95 (plus shipping). I can get the same "amazing Hoodia alternative" elsewhere for $40. What a rip off!

Sites that claim to be able to fill Phentermine prescriptions without a prescription are LYING to you, it cannot be done. Read their Terms and Conditions very carefully, inevitably you will find a clause that allows the site to send you the herbal alternative to Phentermine if you doctor does not approve the request (which he won’t) for the same price!

Don't get caught in this scam

I took Phentermine (Ionamin) abut 9 months ago. I lost 20 lbs, I took it for about 2 months. Great results, definately curbs the appetite, but the side effects are soooo irritatiing. Shakes, Sleep deprivation, Feelings of depression, etc. It does work if you add regular exercise and diet.

OMG yes it works but its only temporary :[. Since it works by tricking your brain into suppressing the body's appetite, the brain eventually "catches on" or in medical terms...becomes somewhat immune.

My doctor recommended taking it in cycles to ease the NASTY side effects and keep it working longer. (Worked for me)

Hope this info helps if you start experiencing side effects or your appetite comes back :]

Anyone taking Phentermine (not Phentremine)

I realize diet pills aren't for everyone, but I currently have a script for phentermine. I got it because I was in the obesity range for my height and weight. To be honest I thought it was hopeless. You here of people who lose 75 or 120 pounds, but to me it was hopeless. I am aware of the facts that you can gain the weight back once you stop, and it will gradually decrease your results. I don't want to depend on it, so I plan to stop in December wherever I weigh in. I will take it from there naturally, but I am trying this as a diet boost. I realize that I have to incorporate eating healthy and plenty of physical activity in order to keep it off, and continue losing. I am a sahm, so the fridge and pantry is always within my reach. I need to feel full after a regular portion of food instead of half a buffet. I am eating all the right things, no bread, or pasta unless it is whole grain. fruits and veggies, soups for lunch, chicken and salad for dinner.....
I excersise 3x a week only 20 minutes right now cycling, but I hope to get my time up little by little. My goal is to be 140. I know for my height I should be no more than 130-135, but I was the skinny minny who could eat and never gain. I don't want to be a skinny minny ever again. The Dr. said you lose about 10 pounds a month with this, and so far I have lost 13 pounds in almost 4 weeks. My cal. intake is about 1,450. I just want to know if anyone else is trying it right now, and what your experiences are.

Nothing against the OP, but is it just me or has there been a huge influx of people asking about diet pills this past week?

Hi Jenny,

I have been taking Phentermine for about a month. I have been diagnosed with hypothyroid about 2 years ago. I have not been able to get my medication levels correct during all this time. Even with diet and excercise I have continued to gain weight.

So far in the month, I have not really had any results from phentermine. I do have more energy, but have only lost about 2 pounds.

How long have you been taking it for?

Like phendimetrazine and diethylpropion, it can lead to nervousness, sleeplessness and mood changes. If you have problems with blood pressure, heart or hyperfunctioning of thyroid gland, you better substitute Phentermine with natural appetite suppressants

Handy info site

Don't use it myself, diet pills aren't for me, but I know a couple of people who have used it in the past and they loved it even though they did suffer from side effects.

I'd suggest you look at ww.phentermine.com - they have loads of info there and a forum too full of people who are using it.

Good luck everyone.

Buying Phentermine Online

I have been looking to buy Phentermine online for a few months now. I have been through a few different pharmacies and keep getting scammed. They either take my money and run, or they send me a replacement product that is absolute crap!
Can you even buy it online, or is it not legal anymore?
Is there something else that works like Phentermine and is available online?

Thanks a lot,

James

phentermine 30 mg yellow capsule

i took this diet pills after having my 2nd child, and they work great for me, i lost 30 lbs in 2 months, and after that i stop taking them and started doing taboe and running 2-3 times a week to tone up my body, after 3 months doing that, i stop excersing and just watch what i ate and kept my weight.

Until i had my 3rd child, geeze, lol
now after 3 yrs having my son, i have not been able to do it on my own, so i decided to do the phentermine again, now im taking the 37.5 mg blue capsule which is the slow release compare to the yellow capsule which i noticed gave me a faster rush than the blue, i have to say i have lost 30 pounds in 3 months, only because i was cheating on my diet, lol
and i have 30 more pounds to go, to be at my normal weight that i use to be.

A lot of doctors don't like to prescribe this medication because of the effects but this is the only diet pill that works for me!!!

As far as I know, Phentermine is still available as prescription only, which may be why you keep getting scammed! From the information I've read, it's safety has not been tested past 3-6 months of use, although it's most effective for short bursts like 3-6 weeks.

Of course, losing weight this rapidly is generally not healthy for you, and most doctors won't prescribe phentermine unless you're considered obese (not to mention if you don't adopt the necessary lifestyle changes - diet and exercise - you're likely to end up right back where you were).

I started taking phentermine in February. I'm working very closely with a doctor on this, get my blood pressure checked every time I go in to be weighed. At the same time he's had me relearning what to eat, portion control, and I work out at least 3 times a week, usually 4-5. I'll be off of it soon, and I know we'll have to reduce it gradually rather than stop drastically. I know other people that have worked with this doc and they've kept the weight off so far. The weight loss has been faster than it would have been without, but not by much, and it has helped me stay on goal. Maybe on average 3.5 pounds a week instead of 2. What I've been doing this year has worked like NOTHING else I've tried.

What I am guessing happens with a lot of people who take phentermine (this is just a guess, mind you) is they take it for the 'quick fix' of getting the weight off without really bothering to learn how to eat right, exercise, and as soon as they stop taking it, the old habits creep back, and so do the pounds. What I'm finding is that weight loss and maintaining your ideal size needs to be viewed as a lifestyle change and not a 'do it and forget about it' type of thing.

Is it dangerous? Yes, it could be... just like any other drug out there. Some people will react differently (hence the mile-long list of warnings) and it could be detrimental for them to continue taking it. Addictive? Again, yes, if abused. As with all drugs, exercising caution and being smart about taking them (and keeping a good communication with the doc that prescribes them) is the safer route.

Ooop sorry... nothing like a soap box first thing in the morning. :willy_nilly:

I took Phentermine for 3 months almost 3 years ago and went from 155 lbs to 125 in those three months. It worked well for me for a while without any serious side effects, other than dry mouth, but I started noticing increased irritability and so I stopped taking it because I worked at a hotel front desk and needed to not be irritable, lol. I ended up losing the drive to exercise and eat healthy after I went off the drugs and went back up to 140, and then gained another 30 lbs when I went back to college. I've thought about trying to get back on it to help me lose the weight, but I'm afraid that same thing will happen again, and I want my weight loss to be permanent this time.

I've been taking Phenteramine (Adipex) for two weeks and have lost 14 lbs. It seriously reduces my appetite and side effects are minimal. I get a boost of energy for maybe a couple hours after I take it then it wears off. I currently weigh 221, 5'8 and am 35 years old.

My sister has lost 90 lbs taking Phenteramine but eats extremely healthy and has begun to exercise. I just hope she doesn't regain the weight when she goes off it.
