Thanks Em , Cate and Lama . Didn’t get to the mountain yesterday as weather really was not good . Did some pottering in garden and rested a bit too .
Been busy this morning . I made nut bars which my husband will eat most off and I have a new soup recipe simmering at the moment . Tomatoes with cannellini beans . Going to go visit my neighbour aftef lunch I think then need to go pick up a few groceries later I suppose .
Fed up of shopping but it’s easier when I do it as I’m more organised and definitely keep the costs down .
 
Pottering in the garden sounds like good work, and it can be good exercise. What are you doing in the garden this time of year? I still have some things that need to get done in the garden here before winter, but they will have to wait a few weeks.

Tomato and cannellini bean soup sounds good, need all the tomato recipes I can get here.
 
Oops was a bit big . LaMa I cooked the veg first , then add the tomatoes and cook for 20 mins . Add the beans last . I did rinse them . Simmer for another 20 mins . Turn off heat .stir through the cream and I blended with an immersion blender . I thought it was very tasty.

Rob I am just tidying up the garden abit and planting bulbs etc . Nothing too major .
 
I could almost live on soups, casseroles & roasts in Winter. I’m sure you’ll have hearty but healthy meals.
 
I have been busy . Work is hectic home is hectic . But we have been told to quieten down by our govt tonight no meeting people no visitors etc . I will have to play visiting mother in law by ear . I try make sure I get at least 3 out of 4 weekends .
Did I mention I’m doing a bit of a sugar withdrawal . Yesterday was a good day .

I had soup when our shopping . No bread . Made sea bass fried in a little butter with salad and sweet potato fries for dinner .
I had natural yoghurt, smaller portions Of berries , tablespoon of flaxseed amd spoon of almonds this morning for breakfast. Not planned lunch yet but it’s curry for dinner .
Feeling good about it
 
Sounds delicious. I want to go back down with the refined sugar as well. Empty calories and they make me cravy on top of it.
I hope you'll be able to keep visiting your MIL. Human interaction is so important, especially during stressful times.
 
Your food does sound really good, Petal & very healthy. I find eating "proper" well-balanced meals has me craving much less. We had curry last night too & fish the night before :)
