Petals diary

Thank you all you lovely ladies . Didn’t really get much of a detox yesterday although not too bad but feel better and all set for one today . Had a big bowl of mixed fruits ( grapes , raspberries, strawberries, kiwi ) for breakfast with some protein yoghurt . Have planned salads and protein ( chicken or fish ) for today and maybe some sweet potato with my evening one . Same tomorrow . And yes Lama lots of water .
Yep I know a few people with it now . It’s actually very real .
I masked up in work as I had to work closeby with a colleague . It’s important we mind ourselves and each other

Very much so. I do hope that people knowing others who are sick and seeing what this virus can do makes us more careful.

Yesterday I ended up making a veg soup it was lovely all healthy . I did have some brown seeded bread with it ,totally delicious and not very detox but ate really well and healthy . Kept away from junk food. Willrepeat today .

I bought some walking shoes . Fingers crossed they help me . Also am breaking them in at home and they were fine yesterday.

Bought some lovely new bedlinen so did a god clean on my room and it looked good . All in all a good day .

Today ,a walk this morning , shower and hair wash then visiting i think. Not really feel like visiting but needs must
 
Yesterday sounds like an excellent day Petal. I’m thinking of making some mushroom soup myself today to use them up. Hope the visiting turns out to be enjoyable.
 
Lama just wearing them at home right now and so far so good . Nice cozy fleece socks on now though

Amy I had it again today .

lots of fruit for breakfast, protein yoghurt and a little granola , homemade veg soup , bread and orange for lunch with more yoghurt .
Dinner was baked potato with ham cheese and salads .
snacks consisted of some nuts , quark and small bar .
A stressful week ahead of me all . My aim is to work hard , but not overdo , stay calm and eat as healthy as I can .and to Be prepared
 
I really hope work goes great for you this week Petal. I'm trying to think of strategies to not get overwhelmed - it's just a part of my life. I can always get another job. If things go wrong - this too shall pass...

I am wearing my fleecy socks tonight too. A bit chillier tonight! And no, I didn't make my soup. :( Hopefully during the week.

Well work was pretty crap but I didn't let it get to me too much and I know what I have planned for today.
I was hungry yesterday but only snacked on heathy stuff.
I have one more portion of soup left so will finish it today .

Had an amazing walk last night , didn't really realise it was down hill until I turned back and was climbing upwards. It was through farmland and I saw horses and a beautiful kestrel.
 
We don't see many Kestrels here in Tassie, but do see other hawks & eagles. I love watching them soar. Your walk sounds lovely, Petal :)
 
Had to google ‘kestrel’ - that’s my new bit of learning for the day.

Ah we have a fair few around here I love to watch them. Work was ok but only because I'm trying to keep myself ok mentally . It's a bit of a battle . I work very very hard and do best I can.
I learned something new as well. Sounds like a gorgeous walk!

Covid is becoming rampant here again and I know way too many people getting tested. But the positives are low altogether still too high. I am seeing blatant disregard for it now in places and it's scary.

Ate reasonable yesterday . Bought some fab plums in Lidl . Still room for improvement. I do well for a few days then a blip for a day or two. Still chipping away at it though and will get there in the end probably the last runner dragging over the finish line.
 
As long as you enjoy the run your placing doesn't matter.

I have realised when I was losing all my weight last year no one knew I was trying except you guys and my immediate family. Of course everyone knows I am doing it and in fact 3 people I know joined because of me . I hate people asking me about it , I feel pressure and I'm wondering is that part of why I struggle a bit .
 
That could well be the case. Other people's weightloss is not your responsibility though, nor do you owe anyone more weightloss or even maintenance.
