Ok Girlies this is it....our home base. Challenge updates I'm sure will remain in the Vegas challenge thread but this is allllll ours.

I want our team to really come together because together we can do this. We're a unit and we need each other.

I think it would be a great idea to set mini one week goals.

Weight goal - pick a number even if it's just 1/2 a lb

Exercise goal - we could set a group goal or individual goals ie. x number of minutes of cardio for the week etc
 
My personal weight goal for the week is - 1lb

Group exercise goal - 120 minutes of cardio (4 30 minute sessions)

60 minutes of strength training (3 20 minute sessions)

It can be broken up however you want. Next week's challenge will be a bit more interesting I promise!!
 
PERFECT.....I CAN do THIS!!! I like the FACT that we HAVE our OWN THREAD!!!....CHEEEOOOOWWW.....now ALL WE NEED to do IS stop HAMMING FOOD down and EXERCISE it up &meet our WEEKLY GOALS!!!

TONIGHT....I weigh in at the GYM.....so TOMORROW I will post the starting WEIGHT......also.....we should TAKE measurements of ourselves too...because A LOT of times we LOOSE inches and not LBS....so tomorrow I WILL POST those too!!! :iagree:

annnnnnd....as some extra exciting news....stepped on the scale 3 times this morning for it to say each time I was down 1/2 a lb lol I'm going to test it out tomorrow again but yay!

OKAY.......LETS not SAY I didn't TELL you ALL....but YES....the SAD harsh TRUTH about ME.....is I HAVE been a PIGGO....not EATING ....but DRINKING....and IT CAUGHT up...nasty!!!

I am UP A LOT on the scale.........I'll update my ticker.....but 164 THIS MORNING for you!!
I was DOWN and OUT....but DON"T worry LADIES....I"M NIPPING this IN THE BUTT!! NOWW!!!

I WORKED out this morning: 30 min....treadmill ---no handles---15 incline 3.1 speed walk
---I sweat sooo much when I do this...not holding on makes me REALLY not cheat---

---ABS 15 min....did a couple machines and leg lifts.....

I WANTED to share something that some man told me........he said............

**ON THE DAYS you do NOT want to WORK out.....you JUST tell yourself.....JUST GO just to GO not to WORK out......and DO just 2 or 3 min****

--the REASON I really LIKED this is because I NEVER gave myself that OPTION just to go and NOT work out.....the REALITY is WE KNOW once WE ARE there and DID 2 or 3 min....YOU WON"T STOP there...you WILL keep going BUT worst COMES to WORST....you came....and HE SAID.....you just do that 7 days a WEEK and SEE what COMES out!!!

I found that SOOO helpful...!!! JUST COME...who CARES if you don't do anything....but I THOUGHT of my TEAM and OF COURSE we will do SOMETHING!!! ;)
 
That is a really helpful tip. I got that advice once too along with you won't ever regret working out but you'll regret not doing it.

Strength Training - probably get 2 days in
 
I really want to win this challenge. We can do it!! My workouts are pretty structured each week. I can vary them slightly on M,W,F but the other days are pretty much set in stone.

Monday - Circuit Training/Strength Training
Tuesday - "Track" with Team in Training (Running and core strength)
Wednesday - Circuit Training/Strength Training
Thursday AM - Running
Thursday PM - Bikram Yoga
Friday - Circuit Training/Strength Training
Saturday - Long Run

Upcoming Runs:
July 17th - Half Marathon (Jungle Run, Los Gatos, CA)
July 27th - 6 miles (Warf to Warf, Capitola-Santa Cruz, CA)
Oct 5 - Half Marathon (San Jose Rock n Roll, San Jose CA)
Oct 19th - FULL Marathon (Nike, San Francisco, CA)

Will all this running I better lose some damn weight! Diet will be crucial!!

LATE Afternoon- 1 hour SPINNING/CYCLING
NIGHT-20 min. Elliptical machine
5 min. Stair MASTER
45 min. abs/chest/arms/butt...lol

I did 1 hour on the treadmill this morning and plan on doing 1.5hrs of Bikram yoga tonight. I didn't eat to well last night but hopefully can make up for it today.

A lot of smack talking...I love it. Good thing we got a few months to go...that way we can all loose a decent amount of weight before then!! OOUUU!!
