Weekends are tough all around. This weekend I have a birthday party (costumed) then dinner at Mom's. I know I won't get any exercise in at all on Saturday because my wife is going out of state and the gym doesn't have babysitting on weekends. I'll have to make up for it on Sunday.
Good job on the burger. I made some seafood and rice noodles for dinner last night. Not that bad, health wise, but not that good either. I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast, so I was starving. Instead of chowing down I went to the gym, did a quick lift, then came home and ate less then I would have otherwise. I think tonight I'm making a steak. I've been thinking about it all week. Time to start grilling.
Hey, that's great! I don't know if I could have made it to the gym if I were so hungry. Lol, knowing me I'd eat first then talk myself out of going. *sigh* Gotta change that way of thinking.
What about doing something active with the kiddos Saturday? Something is better than nothing (or so I'm learning.) You can jump rope just about any time.
And bring me some steak. Mmmmm . . . steak . . .
