Okay, after a horrible week I still managed to get to 319, compared to last weeks 320.8. Oh well, better than nothing. I'll try and do better next week though!
 
I want to run sooo bad but its 4C outside!!!!!! GaHHH!
 
Okay, I'm a bit late. I felt awful yesterday so I went home and crashed hard. A bit better today. :)

October 3: 224
October 10: 221.4 (-2.6)
October 17: 219.6 (-1.8)

October Loss: 4.4

I just might hit my 5 lb. goal this month. Yippee!

I'm a dork

I just realize my signature had the wrong weight. I think I was wishing when I put it down. The last weight should be 187.2. I think I will just leave it and make 178.2 my goal for November 1. Right now I am at 185.6 so I am down a couple of pounds. On Friday I had a killer upper body workout at lunchtime. When I got back my muscles were going crazy and I could barely type. I was sore all weekend from my workout. I had an okay weekend, but I am looking forward to hitting the weights and the cardio hard this week. It is a war me against the fat and the fat is going down. Today I will go to the gym and get do a really good 45-50 minute leg workout and I will take an hour walk this evening.
 
Ran my first 5K race yesterday... I was injured going into the race but was able to finish in a personal best time. And I am officially in high gear!
 
I pretty much took the weekend off from working out, but was relatively good where it comes to food. Today I'm hitting it hard all around. Unofficial weigh in this morning was 198.5. Wednesday will be the real one. :smash:
 
Tonight I jumped rope. 10,000 jumps in 1 hour 5 min and 11 sec. My best time yet, and finally did it with my new rope. I think 12,000 will have to be my next goal, right JZ?

Oct 1 : 199.6
Oct 8 : 201.4

That's what I'm liking. Total for Oct. 2.2 pounds, but real which is nice. Also I kind of had some late night eating which is not the usual way for me. Onwards to next week. :hurray:

Oh, I also decided to change my goal weight to 185. I'm close to 195 and see that there is still enough fat to get rid of before I'm done. :smash:

Funny how people think they will be happy once they reach XXX lbs but when they actually get there they realize they want to do more. I've seen that a lot it seems. I've said a million and one times if I ever get below 150 I'd be a happy lil camper. BUT if/when I do get there I will probably look in the mirror and say, Nah, I think I want to be 140 or 135.
 
Oh, I'm happy. Very happy. If I stay at this level of fitness for the rest of my life I'll consider it a success. I'm just thinking that there is some more that I can/should do.
 
Hey guys... I'm finally ready to unvail my results from this past week of being back on track.

October 1 - 143.0
October 8 - 144.0
October 16 - 146.6
October 22 - (144.6) 143.4 (-3.2lbs)
October 29 - (141.4)

Overall I'm up +.4 right now but I think I can get to at least an overall loss of 2lbs this month if I stick to my plans. It's been 18 days since I've had a drink but my bday is this Saturday meaning bad eats and lots of alcohol. I'll try to be as good as possible and hopefully I can get down to feeling good about myself again. I've also been at 143.4 for the last 3 days which is a real bitch. I think I'm going to not take my little helper pills anymore because when I don't take them my weight doesn't go down. So F that!!

Ya know I have a speed rope that I might just have to dust off and try it out. I know jumping is wicked hard... I don't think I could last 5 mins let alone hours!! You're a beast Trops!! :smash::seeya:
 
WOOT! I've hit my five pound goal for October with a week to spare! This week's loss was only a little over half a pound but it was still enough to push me to the finish line. This coming last week in October I will push myself a little harder to exceed the five pound goal. :D

I'm only a pound above where I wanted to be today in my quest to reach Onederland by New Year. But, that's okay because I know there will be weeks I will not have a 2-lb. loss and there may be a week when I have a 3-lb. loss. As long as I am within a couple of pounds of my weekly goal I can still hit my year-end goal.

Thanks! I'm supposed to be going to meetings but I haven't been. I've gone to one in a month I think. Lol. I do like going, though, because it's neat meeting others that have had successful weight loss and sharing tips, strategies, recipes, etc. I have found a meeting place closer to home so I'll try to go at least every other week just to help stay on track. With my schedule it's hard to find the time. I am keeping an online points and weight tracker, which I have been keeping current. AND I have been getting in activity whenever I can. Doing extra things like walking at lunch time, etc. I tend to let things slide on the weekends but I am determined not to do that this weekend.

We took the kiddos to a Fall Festival last night and they served hot dogs, chili, chips, etc. I did not eat any of it. I waited until I got home and made myself a points-friendly mushroom swiss burger. Mmmmm . . . . :drool5:
 
Weekends are tough all around. This weekend I have a birthday party (costumed) then dinner at Mom's. I know I won't get any exercise in at all on Saturday because my wife is going out of state and the gym doesn't have babysitting on weekends. :( I'll have to make up for it on Sunday.

Good job on the burger. I made some seafood and rice noodles for dinner last night. Not that bad, health wise, but not that good either. I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast, so I was starving. Instead of chowing down I went to the gym, did a quick lift, then came home and ate less then I would have otherwise. I think tonight I'm making a steak. I've been thinking about it all week. Time to start grilling. :iagree:
