after much debate with myself, i decided ok i'll keep a diary here. now yall can tell me all the crap im doing wrong and why i cant lose any more weight haha. plus you all will see just how messed up i really am lol (for real). i will be recording my exercise on the june challenge thread and in my personal diet notebook at home.

well lets see i guess i need to talk about food here ugh. ok its 2:30pm and so far i have had an 8 oz lowfat yogurt, 3 cups of coffee, and water.
4 pm - 6oz tuna and of course still downing the water!
7 pm - cream of wheat and 2 donuts

over the past few months i have been gaining and losing the same 5 pounds pretty much. the lowest i saw was 143, but today im 146 and im sure by next week it will still be in this 143-148 range. have not lost any inches either. i sure hope something changes this month or i may be tempted to resort to desperate measures.

oh by the way in case it matters, i am 5'5" and have a large frame. my ideal weight should be 130. my BMI is still way too high at 24.3.

Glad to hear it wonderwoman, what took so long??

what took me so long? oh maybe the fact that i didnt want my life to be an open book? besides, just cuz i never had a diary here doesnt mean i dont have one somewhere else

ok well this breakfast thing isnt going too well. if im not hungry, how can i eat? i was gonna have some instant breakfast (just a drink) but im out of skim milk and i dont think i should have the 2%. im on a new medicine now called topamax and i think its constipating the hell outta me. cant take anymore colace than im already taking...so im probably carrying around some extra baggage "ahem".

its 11am but no food to write down since i havent eaten yet. just coffee, water, and my multivitamin so far.
2 pm - yogurt
5 pm - 6 oz tuna
8pm - grilled chicken and caesar salad

probably wont do too much exercise today because i'm in too much pain. i hate these rainy damp days

Glad to see you are starting a diary! I miss the dancing sexy girl, but the microwaved smiley face is new.
Any vegetables and/or fruits to ease up that, "ahem," constipation? (Nobody likes to be uncomfortable!)

yep well its kinda tought to eat right when you got no money, what little money i have for groceries i need to buy stuff the kids will like. but i do eat fiber tablets. so until wednesday i just gotta wing it somehow....no diary today. i hate doing it and its sunday so im taking the day off.

I hear ya about the money and eating right! It is more expensive to eat healthy. And I have kiddos (3 boys- almost 5, 3.5 and almost 2) so I understand that you still have to have some stuff around that they may like, but you shouldn't eat! I have to say, though, that after a while of eating healthy my boys have started to eat better. And they will ask if things are healthy or not. I guess, I've raised their awareness, even if they did eat donuts for breakfast! :)

You know .. the government has us by the snardlies...they want us to live healthy..but if we do they lose money..but they pretend that they want us to be healthy and that its cheaper to be well...and yet..the prices are jacked up & you need a second mortgage to get groceries each week. Im so glad its planting season so maybe I can do my own garden!

Is it just me or is that way way too little calories? That doesnt even look over 600-700 cals. I highly recommend upping it to at least 1500 lol. Your screwing yourself eating so little. Anyways lol. About the expensive health foods you kind of just have to look around for deals, I will find chicken for like 2.50$ a lb around me, and thats skinless and boneless and a pretty small amount of fat too. Oatmeal is cheap as well as brown rice. I got kind of lucky because I dont think many places have cheap cottage cheese(5.50$ for 5 lbs.) they sell it in big tubs at BJ's. Bananas arent too bad. Cheap health food shouldnt be too bad if you do research to actually see what is good for you, then look in the store for it, sorry for messing up your diary.

yeah errtu, go away! and you think im screwing myself on purpose? it aint easy with only 1 income plus small amount of disability and 5 mouths to feed, which is why im the one who usually ends up going hungry! dont know what i will do come september when i will have TWO preschool tuitions to pay for. (takes away from grocery money) but thanks for the cheap healthy food ideas.

and yesterday i didnt eat all day til evening then had 2 grilled cheese sandwiches (leftovers i could NOT throw away). had a few thunderstorms during the time i usually exercise, so didnt get any done

today mother in law was here so kinda messed my schedule up, didnt get to drink much water and im dying of thirst! its 3pm and i have had coffee, water, and a 6 oz can of tuna. going to have a lowfat yogurt in a few min.

ummmm and by the way arent oatmeal, brown rice, and bananas, all BINDING things? with the meds im on, i dont need to be even more constipated.

We're a family of 4 on one income so i know where your coming from...it might be cheaper to buy the whole chicken as opposed to just pcs. then it could feed the whole family, tuna is great and cheap, oatmeal is great and full of fibre it wont bind you up, brown rice has more finre that plain white rice and is good for you too(not sure about the whole constipation factor on that one)apples a great cheap fruit to have on hand...bout all i can think of. :) sorry yesterday and today were bad hopefully it'll all go better tomorow :)

I know your gonna be mad, but I have to side with Errtu...your calorie count looks really low. I'm no pro thats for sure, but I know if you don't eat enough, your body will go into "starvation mode" and you'll have a hard time loosing that way too. I'm sorry money is tight,we are a family of 4 living on about 1000 a month! half of it goes to rent!! So, I understand. If you can't eat anymore than thats your call, its just a observation, All of us from time to time have to get in eat others diary and make an observation :)

ps....don't be mad at errtu, he has the best intentions, he's just a bit blunt thats all :)

Easy WW... remember people are here to help you not upset you... dont beat on someone cuz they give you advise...
bananas are fiber and so is oatmeal & yet brown rice may bind a bit... but they shouldnt constipate you if your eating enough fiber. Also..i have found that dried apricots will get the pipes working very quickly...just dont eat too many! yikes... too much at that point.
I really do understand trying to live on a budget and dealing w/ lack of funds... but there are ways around it & errtu has some great ideas... take a breath and just rethink your situation...there are always ways to get by... Have you thought of doing a small garden? you can do them in pots and you dont even need to spend much money... you can use buckets...that will keep healthy produce in your house w/ low cost
just and idea

today wasnt so good on the exercise front, very hot and humid which im not used to yet. only walked 30 min. did grocery shopping finally, yay!

10am - bacon and eggs
2pm - salad
5pm - ham and cheese sandwich
8pm - 3 slices of pizza

and im not really mad at errtu, its just that he KNOWS i know about eating enough calories etc./putting body into starvation mode - i am not new to this whole weight loss deal. so when he told me "im screwing myself" i guess it just dint sit well...guess i just got some bad pms going on. excuses, i wasnt beating on someone for giving me advise, it was for insinuating that i didnt know what i was doing.

thanks everyone for the great ideas! :D
