Weight-Loss October Monthly Challenge

Yay for Fall!! I know it's been a couple of weeks since Fall started, but the weather just started getting cool down here, so it feels official! I am in LOVE with Fall! I love to decorate my house with Fall stuff and I love to be outside. I would like to start walking in my neighborhood now that the weather is nice. Hopefully that will help to get me to my mini-goal of 199 by my anniversary this month.

My mini-goal is to get to 199 by my 5th anniversary on the 25th. That's 11 pounds in 3 weeks. I really don't want to kill myself to get to that but that's what I'm shooting for.

Realistically, I'd be satisfied with weighing 205 on October 25th and 203 on the 31st. :driving:

just as a side note a friend of mine is in a similar situation and is working with a dietician because they said if done healthfully she doenst need to gain much weight and she can still have a perfectly healthy pregnancy. Something about monitoring your intake to be healhty and balanced while continuiing to walk and then as the baby gains you are also loosing fat and shortly after birth you will be at or below your pre-pregnancy weight. Just a note that its possible, not to loose weight of course thats not waht I am saying. She is working with a dietician because of high risk for gestational diabetes and they brought this up as a side benefit.

Thanks! That's really interesting and I'll definately be talking to my Dr. about it. I am going to attempt to keep up with some of the exercise that I've been doing after I get over this exahsted phase. I feel like I've been hauling sand bags in the hot sun all day and in reality all I did today was lay on the couch watching baby shows on Discovery Health! I would like to try to only gain 20 pounds if my Dr. says it's okay. Thank you for the info and the congrats :)
 
Gratz again Kristi :) I'm so excited for you! Make sure you're takin your prenatal vitamins though which I'm sure you are. I googled and found this article ...generic advice but maybe helpful? I got out of it you should take naps, lol.



Ok so back to weigh in ;/ And honestly I'm not gonna worry about bein up because I've gained a pound since yesterday and I know I'm retaining water like I usually do around this time. Plus I'd eaten already when I weighed. But I'll take this as I need to work extra hard this week.

Start Weight = 332.6 (1% goal per week- 3lbs/week)

I'm not changing my weigh in for Friday but this morning, only a day later, I only weighed 329.8 so that's not as bad as I thought.
 
I'll update tomorrow, one day late....no scales, battery is flat because the kid played with it for hours....*grrrrrrr*

I'm a day late on weigh in...I've been super sick with the flu. Hopefully this weight loss is real and not because of that, lol.
