Not Stopping This Time

Hey, thanks for the support. Sad to say my weight still isn't going down. It's up a bit. I was pretty upset about it as it makes me feel like I am doing something wrong. And perhaps I have been not trying hard enough? But I didn't want to get stressed about it. So I am trying not to jump to conclusions. I want to see what will happen in the next few days. If things turn out to be moving in the wrong direction, then perhaps I will need to rethink this. But even in that case, I don't want to let it stress me out. I want to keep a cool head, even in the case that I have to change my eating plan. I believe it is possible to do get the results I want through self-control and without stressing myself out over it. Does that make sense?

The same thing is happening to me, Kyle. I don't want to stress either or get despondent. We'll work it out.

It totally makes sense, Kyle! Sending you all possible vibes of support and solidarity. (And you, too, Cate, of course! :) )

I checked my weight and it went down back to 245.4, which is where it has been for a while. I notice that when I eat home-made salad for dinner it really helps me lose weight, which is nice because it is something I enjoy and it's filling. I think I will ask my wife to make me a side salad to eat with dinner as much as possible. I think that will help me eat less of the other food too because I will usually get quite full from the salad. That will probably help me lose weight a little while still eating enough food to feel healthy. I think side salads can be quite simple and easy to make. So I don't think my wife will mind the task much.

Having up to 100 kcal of veggie soup or salad as a starter correlates with more weightloss, apparently, simply because they take up space in your stomach and help you feel full sooner.

Yes. That's exactly what I was thinking. It's a good way to feel full without eating too much.

Thanks. I had a salad last night too. It definitely helped me fill up. My weight didn't up the next day too, which is a good sign. Let's give this a few days and hopefully I can push the weight down a bit.

I went up a bit yesterday morning but I am back down to 244.8 today. The average is going down slowly, but I am fine with that as long as it's going in the right direction. I have been starting to catch a cold, but I took plenty of vitamin C which really does seem to help with colds.

I would be too. Keep going, Kyle. Hope that cold disappears fast :)
Thanks, Cate. My cold seems to be getting better. I think I have been able to block it a little before it got out of hand. I was able to sing in my chorus yesterday, so I was feeling pretty well.

As for my weight, it went down to 243.6! That small drop in weight makes me happy because it's been hard to see this kind of result lately. I feel some hope now that what I am doing can work.

Ok. I was feeling a bit bloated this morning, so I thought the weight might not show a decrease, but it's actually down slightly to 243.4. So I have hope that when I unbloat tomorrow I will see a little more result. Cold has been getting a little better. It wasn't keeping me awake at all last night.

Hello,my friends. I am in a good mood. My wife and I decided to start a budget. It was a tough decision, but the good side is that I won't be eating out anymore, pretty much. So I confident I will naturally lose some weight. I will keep posting daily.
