New routine Feb - April

so, todays fun......if you can call it that.

5:30 am rolls around and I roll out of bed, time to head to the gym. I was tired as hell, but I knew I had to go. went downstairs had me a shake and some multigrain toast with organic peanut butter (thinking about it makes me wanna puke).

Hit up the gym and did 45 mins of hard cardio, alternating between the eliptical and the bike, then i ran to my car (it was raining)

At 12 i hit the gym again. it was after classes. same as before, only i think i went a little faster, which i found odd.

the plan is to hit the gym again tonight before work, then its work till 6:30 am then bed.
 
wow your doing tons.. good luck and will watch your progress. watch on over doing it though sometimes we push too hard and don't want to give it up.. but listen to your body and you'll be okay.. nice numbers your pulling too.. :D

yeah i know. but i have a couple good friends that happen to be HK profs watching my back. if they think it gets to be too much i'll slow it down, but i have a high goal to meet and its gonna take alot to meet it.


oh btw, I just weighed myself....212!!!! w00t! 22lbs more to go :)

so yeah, i learned my first lesson in the correlation btwn lifting and having ADD and its not a very good one. so here it is:

now that that is said we can continue to the recent retardedness of me.

so, its official. I am a moron.

This upcoming week is going to be stupidly busy for me and i prolly wont have too much time to hit the gym. So, I decided that instead I would cramm all of it, minus the leg routine, into the weekend. I don't think i have to say it (but i will anyways), but that is NOT a smart thing to do.

To make matters worse, I work midnights. So there was little to no rest in between.

On friday we hit the gym at about 8:30 pm for shoulders. Then I went straight to work for 8 and a half hours. From there I went directly back to the gym to hit back and bi's.

In my defense, I did switch back and bi's in position in the routine. :D

After the workout i went home and caught maybe 3 hours of sleep and then went out for the night. I left the festivities and went straight to work again.

and yesterday is when everything went to hell.

I went to the gym for the third day in a row, which i know was a stupid move and i even knew it then. We started into chest/tri's and I put out a good beginning. i got to 255 for 5 reps before my shoulder started to hurt. I figured it was nothing since i've felt the exact same thing before and had no problem. I should have stopped there. But no, i decided to be a dumbass and take the 10's off and throw on 25's. I got out 4 at 275 before my shoulder couldn't take it and I proceeded to be retarded by dropping the 25's for a drop set.

Now there is a fine line between determination and stupidity and this is where i crossed it. And let me tell you I won't make the listake again.

I walked over and grabbed the 65's, did incline DB with them and another set w/the 75's before i realized that I needed to stop.

By the time I got to work for 10 I couldn't even clench my fist b/c the pain was so bad. I took so ibuprofen and toughed it out, but the moment it wore off I nearly lost my breath from the pain. I left b/c i was "sick" about 15 mins later.

now that I've been sitting for a little while and i got it heated and iced twice now its feeling less brutal, but i'm hoping I can be back in the gym next week.

within the next day or so i will hopefully have my numbers (which are in my spotter's log book) and i can post em for you. till then i'll just sit around here and b!tch about not being able to lift.
 
lol man you crack me up... hey bro nice work i wish i had all the motivation you have. It takes alot of effort to do what your doing. I hope you reach your goals. Dont HURT yourself
 
Ahhhhh see what have you been told!!!!! So you think that cramming everything in and overtraining is still a good thing??? Your going to plateau, hurt yourself worse and your gains will go down the tubes.. Now smart'n up!! And btw lol@jen you and your chest obsession.... nothing beats a nice chest for your girl to lay her head upon.. just remeber that!!
 
damn phreak. you really gotta calm down with that... you're over doing it. you need way more rest and time... this sh*t doesnt happen over night.
 
ummm...did you guys read the entire post or just the part about me hurting myself?

Cause I did say that the reason I did it was because i was not going to have any time this week...its not the routine, it was the fact that i didn't follow my own better judgement. I even said that i knew at the time that i shouldn't be doing it.

but whatever, no hard feelings, it WAS a long post
 
*sigh* ok so i think I owe the 2 of you an apology. you were only trying to be helpful. It's this damn insomnia. so far i'm at 39 going on 40 hrs w/no sleep.

But yes, i'm sorry i kind over reacted to the comments. no hard feelings?
 
:D New pics. Nothing too fancy just a couple leg shots and a measurement. If you follow the threads in the lounge you might have already seen these. I'll get some better one next week after I work em out (I haven't hit legs in about 2 weeks so they are not the greatest they've ever been)

ugh...this insomnia crap is gonna kill me.

so the count is now at 53.5hrs! But there is hope. For the first time in days, I actually have a full 8 hours to devote to sleep, so now I'm taking a Melatonin and hopefully I will pass the hell out. well, cheers im off. wish me luck

i didnt get the impression you were overreacting. but since u did, HOW DARE YOU! lol just playing. get a good night sleep and see if u can take a few days off!

been off since i got hurt on sunday, but i plan on hittin the gym for a good leg routine tomorrow. can't wait, its been so long

Heh, ill get those upper body shots soon hopefully. I want to drop a few more pounds first. got to get rid of these stupid love handles first you know ;) ill try to get some back shots and arms, but it could be awhile before i get some shots with abs.

just put on an A-shirt and snap a few - thats my lil secret LOL
