Need more ab definition

and,Personally,i think, thats just u!

she wants a six pack, why would she change her goal for the guys who like a little shake??

Actually, I would say that most guys would find her stomach more appealing than that avatar, if not perhaps somewhere inbetween.

I never said she should change her goals because I like more shake, i just said that I like more shake!

Tony, thanx for the title change. Looks like I needed it ;)

Sadie, I appreciate the article. Very informative. Out of curiosity (and your avatar) do u happen to have a six pack yourself? ..or are u working on it?

As far as guys not finding the avatar attractive, it really doesn't matter to me. I'm not out to pick up guys with my abs. Everyone has their own preferences, and I respect them. Personally, I find nicely defined abs attractive on both girls and guys. It shows one's hard work and dedication, and that's the sexieset part about it, along with a nice visual as well.
I'd just like to know that I CAN do it.

Again, thanx for everyone's input.

oh i love you for that Ayla,i 100% agree with u
i am working on my abs too,i have a six pack but its certainly not as defined as my avatar but maybe one:)
u can do it babes, anything is possible as long as u dont lose your determination
Best of luck

Sadie do u have any pictures of ur abs? I'd love to see them.

I shall post mine again in a month or two, so u can tell me if there's any visible progress.

You're looking great already. I wouldn't be too concerned if you do lose 5 or 10 pounds. It shouldn't have much affect on your bust since your bf% is already low

Ayla, you have a very nice stomach for a girl. 5'7", 100 pounds is a very, very good fit weight. You have one hell of a sexy body.

If you want to tone your body, simply run and do more sit-ups. Cut as much fat out of your diet as possible. Absolutely no trans fat, very, very little saturated fat if any at all. No more than 3 grams a day or so. Read nutritional labels like a hawk.

eating healthy good fat doesnt make you fat, there is no reason to cut fat out of your diet.
Situps wont tone anything, they will help build muscle and strenght in your abs, but wont burn fat from the abs.

I just bought the Billy Blanks DVD set that comes with Billy Bnads and so far my abs have been killing me. I recommend it if you dont' want to lose weight and just want defined abs.

Wow you look perfect as it is. If I were you I wouldn't change a thing. But I tend to like girls who are just in between, not too mucular and not too "unmuscular" you're fine!! ;)

What exactly is resistance training though? What kinds of exercises does that incorporate? Sorry, but again, Im not familiar with any type of training so I wouldn't know this :/

You aren't familiar with any type of training but you look THAT HOTT?! wow...

Ok so some info first. I'm naturally really skinny. Up until a month ago I ate fast food few times a day without ever gaining a pound. I'm 5'7" and I weigh 100lbs. No matter how much I eat, my weight never changes. I figured of course my eating habits were bad, so now I try to eat healthier. I turned to fruit and vegetables and the only kind of meat I eat is chicken (dont like anything else). Thing is, I really really want my abs to look good. I want a six pack. Now, Im NOT familiar with exercise at all. That's a foreign word to me, but I wanna change it. I need some advice on how to get my ab muscle to show. I want those six little squares to be really visible :D Now, what should I eat? How can I just focus on my abs, AND see results? Im afraid if I do cardio, I'll lose weight, and that's definitely something I don't wanna do. Im skinny as it is. I just bought a pilates for abs workout dvd.. tried it, and boy does that hurt. Could that work? Anyway, please, any advice is welcome since I wouldn't know what to do myself..
Just to give u an idea, this is how they are now.. also, based on the pics, how long do u think it would take me if I was consistent with my exercises?

You look HAWT already and i think there is no need to change your body!!! if anything you should just be eating healthy now just for the living a longer life benefit. seriously your body looks perfect and any more muscle and definition in those abs and i think it would look dirty. I don't like girls with muscles.

I'm baaack! It's been sooo long since I first posted here (over a year ago), and a lot has happened since then. I wish I could say that I finally reached my goal of having a six pack, but things didn't quite work out that way.
After I posted last, I was actually making some pretty good progress in the ab area, until I decided to go back to my country for a while.. and that's where it all got screwed up. I mean, the food back home was too good to resist (even though I was trying at first, but eventually I gave in).. so the stomach kind of blew up by the time I came back to the States.
Yup, the tummy became all jiggles (lower part mostly), I got the lovely love handles, even cellulite which I still have..
Soooo, I decided its time to get back in shape.. if I don't do it now I never will.
I started eating healthier 2 months ago, and exercising exactly 3 weeks ago.
I work out at home, so I do cardio on my treadmill for 30 minutes almost every other day, I throw in pilates for abs 2 times a week, and some training with resistance bands.. and more ab exercies in the mix.
I eat 6 meals a day.. (low fat, low carb, high protein)
An example of what I eat daily:

Meal 1: Whey protein isolate
1/2 cup Oatmeal

Meal 2: Whey protein isolate

Meal 3: Cooked chicken breast (canned)
Low fat low carb tortilla

Meal 4: Whey protein
1/2 cup cottage cheese

Meal 5: 5 egg whites
Cucumber (or some other veggie)

Meal 6: Whey protein
Flaxseed oil

What I eat changes daily, (some days there are more veggies, and fruits in there) but this is just an example of one day out of the week. I take in about the same amount of protein as I weigh.

So, I'm 3 weeks in.. kind of gave myself a 12 week challenge to see what I can do in that time.
So after 3 weeks, this is what my stomach looks like. Still in bad shape I think.. since it was stretched I feel theres a bit more extra skin.. I don't know.. I hope that goes back to normal. There is still cellulite in there which is visible if I try to flex the abs.. if I am relaxed, the skin looks more tight. I don't know.. I hope that improves with time.

The hardest part to all this I find is eating so often. Before I'd eat 3 huge meals, and get hungry in between them.. but now, I never feel hungry.. so in my mind the feeling of being full makes me think my stomach is actually growing bigger. My mind is playing tricks on me..

Sorry for the long update. Advice on getting rid of cellulite.. and tightening skin in the meantime is welcome.

Oh and where is Sadie by the way? She still posts here? Got her six pack yet?
