Natural way to quit smoking?

It can def. be done without nicoteen patches / councelling ect. Do not underestimate the power of social pressures / commitments to entrench a habit like smoking. Do you / have you familarised yourself with the 'smoker set' at work? Do a large percentage of you mates smoke / beer and smokes a friday night tradition ect. Be aware that external pressures can be just as coercive as internal ones!

quitting smoking actually isnt that hard, you just have to suck up a few days of the withdrawal symptoms then get yourself in the mindset of being a non smoker and enjoy all the health benefits that start coming back. however, the hard part is STAYING quit. no drugs or patches can help with that, that all depends on ones own willpower.

Surgery is easy as well, because all you have to do is make a slit, reconnect some blood vessels, and sew everything back up.

Its a lot earier than it looks or than people say. (In my opinion).

The only hard art about quitting smoking it the routine that you get into. IF you can change your routine from what it is now you will think about smoking less. I know it is hard for people that have jobs as they tend to smoke on their breaks as i did. The best way i found to get around this is to take a few apples (or any type of fruit) into work and eat one everytime you have a break. After a while this will take over your routine of having a cigarette and hopefully stop you from thinking about smoking.

I am smoke free now for 3 months and i can honestly say its the best thing i have ever done! I have saved myself so much money and i feel so much fitter.

My thoughts on smoking are only quit if you really really want to quit. If you dont it wont work. Some of my friends tried quitting with me just because i was quitting... They didnt last long and all of them are smoking again. The reason for this is because they didnt really want to quit in the first place.
