my first steps

i had a great long weekend, i ate out and stuck to my diet had a green salad and chicken fillet at my regular restuarant, we also went to a braai(barbeque) and i had grilled chicken and green salad i enjoyed it so much and i was proud i didnt feel out of place. the only booh booh is that i have not been drinkin water i probaly would have lost more last week, however this week im going to be more strict with water. i feel really good lately and its almost one month that ive been on the forum.

ive been eating lots of chicken lately so forgive me if my meals are a bit boring but i love chicken.
 
it was officially a month yesterday that i have been on my "diet" and i must say I have adjusted quite well, i would like to thank everyone who posts too me and all the support that came from you too. well its a new month and im still on track

it is funny when we cook for people how they dont even notice the difference when you dont use oil, last night i prepared dinner for my man and he didnt even notice i did not put oil in the mince and that i was using lean mince (which he hates) he also asked for a second helping. the secret was garlic and coriander with a little masala.
 
good for you :) . isnt it fun when they eat something good for them and they dont even know the diffrence. i do the same and no one is the wiser. keep up the exellent work :)

i lost 1,5kg this week and im still climbing up the ladder its just great feeling this way.
 
hi my forum buddies, ive been away for a while due to the shocking news of my fathers death, im back and ive recovered, not fully but i will be the same again tommorow, i just feel a bit tired and i have a whole lot of work waiting for me. but i have not given up the weightloss im still going strong.

I'm sorry for you loss, I lost my dad in 98, I totally know what you're going through, it's very difficult.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
 
Hey, Jade. My mother died 4 years ago and it is very difficult to lose a parent. Take care of yourself and know that other people are thinking about you and praying for you.
