my first steps

Thanks for posting in my diary. Thank you for the encouragement and Good Luck to you as well. The protein shakes I have are pretty good and I usally take them with a fruit as well but it is pretty filling. It feels like it coats your stomach. I found the atkins ones to be the best but i'm not on the Atkin diet but they have the most protein being that they are already prepared.

feeling very very good lately, lighter and happier than ive felt in a long time, im as patient as can be because i know ive made a choice to eat better and i dont feel guilty about eating. its a bit slower this week but im still going strong ive lost another kg and i hope by end of the week i lose two

well its the 18th and ive dropped once again, a good 3kgs im so thankful most people cannot see the difference but i can and i also feel different i feel so good. this morning i had such a rush its monday, i left my vitamens behind and my lunch so i need to make a plan. i bought fruit on the way and avo but i think the avo scene has to pullover im eating too much of it, on friday i had the most divine salad with avo two shhets of cheese and stir fryed veges it was heavenly and my tummy was full really full.

well i behaved over the weekend excpt i did not drink as much water as i was supposed too.

i did some research on avos and apparently they are good for you. they do contain fats but those that are good for you, also it depends how much you eat of it per week. they suggest you should eat it twice a week. they are great in salads especially chicken salad. i havent had bread in a long time and it feels great well post tommorow again well done to everyone this week and goodluck with yourweightloss
 
last nite had corned beef, spinache and boiled eggs( i loved it)
corned beef had 3g fat, 7g carbs and it tasted excellent

i had a great day today and the water drinking is also improving, i have lost alot of centimeters and my confidence is on ahigh lately because i am fitting into my old clothes again and i can wear my jeans i missed so much.

i found out that roughage or fibre is really good for the body and for keeping regular it is also good for diabetics so fill in on the fibre
 
hi did everyone have agood weekend? south africa is freezing, its winter and i snuggled in this weekend. i made a lovely bean soup with chicken and it was divine.
ive dropped another 2 this week but the cm loss ive had is amazing. well i plan to lose another two this week and goodluck to all.

I WONT BE POSTING TOMMOROW ITS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY, ITS FREEDOM DAY, THE DAY NELSON MANDELA WAS RELEASED FROM PRISON. I ENJOY THIS DAY SO MUCH BECAUSE WHEN HE WAS RELEASED HE BROUGHT HOPE TO THE SOULS OF SO MANY BLACK SOUTH AFRICANS, EVEN OTHER PEOPLE OF COLOUR AND HE UNITED US. IM PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN, ITS SUCH AN EMOTIONAL DAY FOR ME.
 
Be proud of yourself Jade..this is tough..it is toughest to look at ourselves and realize that WE are the only ones to blame..but the beauty of that is WE are the ones who can Change it all! We can take our health and bodies into our own control and realize that a guilty pleasure isnt worth it! I am finding that when I remake an old meal I used to eat ..to something w/ less calories and fat..I actually still like it and maybe more because im not bloated or feeling disgusted w/ myself after. Im finding Im eating more fish and chic and veggies & fruits and some whole grains. I just want to be healthy and if that means getting thinner..sounds great!

Oh Jade thats sucks :( sorry to hear your not feeling well,hopefully itll blow over soon and youll be back to feeling like yourself again. get some rest and drink lots a fluid(i sound like my mom now lol)get well soon :)
 
im back on track thanx to the miracle BEROCCA it took al my flu away. one day and im back on track.
