My Diary

send me some she;)..i will try to share with Stingo..but he doesnt like my type of food:D

Not true - I just don't like the diet (Atkins) you're on. Besides, I've been keeping She busy with crockpot recipes lol - the turkey chili and (I hope) the chicken, black beans, corn, salsa and cream cheese were both hits. (The latter especially really benefitted from blending/reheating.)

I'll share w/you Sadie. Just come on over. Not sure if it will last air mail to you. Heck, I'll even try your food. I'm always into new stuff.

Stingo..I'm about you put the stuff together in the crockpot. Can't wait til tonight.

Fitness Assessment

Well just got back from lunch after my fitness assessment, and overall it seemed to go ok. Weighed in at around 258.5, with a BF % of 35.3. The bike test was interesting - you go for 3 minutes and at the end, depending on your heart rate, they adjust the resistance on the cycle accordingly. There were 4 tiers, with Tier 1 with bpm < 80, then Tier 2 with bpm >= 80 and <90 etc. My heart rate was coming out between 78 and 82, so I got tested at Tier 2, but apparently was doing well enough that the test giver added the last stage of Tier 1.

Crunches I did fairly ok with - tried to stay with the beat, and see how many crunches I could do in a minute.

Pushups - these were what I felt I did worst on - had me do a modified pushup (knees on the floor), and I was able to do 30 before failure.

Also did a flexibility test too - no idea how I did though as it was tough to tell what "normal" would be.

Overall an interesting experience, and I'll see about getting a retest done in 6 months. I should have the results in a week.
