I gained weight in the first couple of weeks ad well. These are very strange times and they require completely new strategies! Sounds like you're doing great now though.

... Fitness wise I try to run everyday, normally around 3 miles. I add in some weights at least 4 times a week as well. ...
just in case i'm interpreting this correctly, you mean you do some alternate weight training,... not that you "add" weight to your running weight...? i thought about this at one time... i even had some ankle weights i used to walk around with at times in my teens/ twenties, but even then i heard it's not that useful and often harmful to artificially increase your running weight.

I have done this before, carry a back pack with an additional 10-15 Kg in while running but was killing me back.

In the post I just meant lifting weights.

I think with exercise it’s just about being creative so struggling to was struggling to do all my chest exercises without a decent bench press so now i do push ups with weights on my back, Physically shaking at the end of it, currently only adding 15 kg but planning to keep adding 5kg every other week
