Hi, i'm a bit late joining this...

I'm not overweight, but i've recently returned from a over-indulgent holiday in which I gained 5lbs and would like to lose this weight this month.!


8th July: 130.9lbs

15th July: 129.9lbs

22nd July:

Goal weight 125.9lbs

Goal weight loss of 5lbs

AWoohoo so my first week went better than expected. I lost about 2.5lbs. Actually I was dreading this weigh-in today, thinking I would have put all the weight back on, but I managed to keep it off even with the holiday! Woohoo! Hope you all had a great week!
 
Joining late but hopefully this will help me stick with it!

noparsnips- Don't beat yourself up! I know that it is so frustrating to see that scale go up, but don't let it distract you/get too much into you head. Try to channel it into motivation to make it go down. We are here for ya. Now lets get started on this coming week, I know that we are all going to make some really positive choices!

Well, I know a lot of people don't recommend it, but I weigh myself everyday (just to find a trend). As a stated earlier, I plateaud at 261 for like 4 days. So I decided to start running a little more during my 1 hour run/walks. I also used to play football and I remembered after a long hard practice, the last thing to do was some conditioning. So I do 6 approximately 50 yard sprints.


Well it worked, this morning I weighed in at 256.4 lbs.
 
Update: I've decided not to weigh myself every week because I'm doing well and don't want to feel discouraged if a small weight loss shows on the scales. Instead, I'm going to weigh-in fortnightly. Well done everybody on their efforts!

Helo all! back fromthe lost weekend (errr... week!) Special thanks to AvaTea! :beating: I didn't reply, and I was feeling pretty down, but I kept your "don't beat yourself up" remark in front of me (mentally) all week, even when I was more or less beating myself up! (This does not compute!)


Why is it that when I'm feelign glum, my weight doesn't go down, and when I'm feeling good, it does? Hmmm... I think I'll diarise about that. meanwhile:

but hey those exercise are paying off, I don't feel tired when walking or talking the stair so ;) plus I've monitored everything I ate via mfp and it was approx 1300-1500/day! plus it time of the month :leaving:

Well i'm down from last week and would have been down more but I went to the Twin Cities and had a good time (beer and food). But its a new week, I changed my goal a little. I will still be happy if I make this by the end of the month.

Well one more week left and it looks like my goal is achievable. Also some more good news than losing about 6 lbs. is that I started at 35.7% body fat at the beginning of summer and now I am 29.7%!!!
