Well done Minny,

Hi Minny,
Congrats on the double figures, you have done so great on Cohens, your result so far is fab!!
Congrats also on the new job, lots of reasons for you to be on Cloud 9, way to go!!

:D Well done Minny. A new job to celebrate and double figures to boot. A great feeling knowing you won't be seeing triple ever again. I find that I drink a litre of water before leaving for work, aim for 1.5 more by lunch time and the last 1-1.5 by knock off time, leaving me the evening to piddle it all prior to bed...........well that's been the theory anyway, I usually get up at least once during the night:( . Of course, now I'm down to 2.5 for the day, I'm having difficulty pacing myself, but, all going well, it won't matter after next Wednesday cos that's my last day of refeed.
Is the new job local? I would love to meet you and see you progress. I love reading your diary and thinking "I wonder if I passed her down the street today". Good luck with the job, and keep up the great work.
Lauren

Thanks Lauren. The job is in Tulla, at the back of the airport, so it's sort of local i guess...lol. I often think the same thing when i am in the shops...'I wonder if i've just walked past Lauren and didn't know it', and i try to picture your photo in my head, but then i get thinking about that and I forget to actually look at the people around me...lol. And also when i'm doing the grocery shopping, I check out other peoples trolleys to see if there is lots of 'cohens friendly' stuff..hahahha..i'm sad. I'd love to catch up at some stage, but now it's just a matter of 'when', as i'll be at work, and now that it's footy season, Hubby plays for a team 3 hours away, so we're away every weekend until September now, although there are a few games where we'll travel in the day so that pretty much leaves Sundays to do housework...lol. If i ever don't go one weekend, i'll definately let you know. Thanks for the heads up on how you do your water too. I think thats pretty much how i'll work it out, but i might take a few days to get into it coz the first few days will be induction, and i won't necessarily be in the office. I have to spend one day out in a truck with one of the drivers, so i'm going to ask if i can go out with my hubby, coz i know he'll stop for wee stops..lol. (yes, hubby works there too!)

Well, I'm signing off now, need to organise my lunch and stuff for tomorrow and start to think about dinner.....wish me luck...i'm crapping my pants...lol.

What kind of food do cohans eat or not eat dare i ask? Ive heard the odd thing here and there that has to be avoided but thats about all (im just curious)

6th April, 2007 - Completed week 8 and nearly week 9

Hiya everyone...

I've been flat out the last week and a half and haven't had a chance to even get on here. Thanks for asking about the job. It's wonderful and the program has slotted in very well. I'm able to keep my water intake up and even though there is chocolate and cakes and stuff being passed around EVERY DAY, I haven't been tempted.

So here I am, start of week 10 tomorrow and still no deviations. I'm so proud of myself. I will weigh in tomorrow morning but as of Friday, I was down 16.4kg. How great is that, and how great do I feel.

I wore those jeans yesterday, and even though i couldn't get all the buttons done up (but not to worry about that coz my top and poncho covers all), the legs on the jeans, and the bum, were quite baggy, so i think by the time my tummy lets all the buttons up, they'll definately be too big....YAY :p

Sorry if I haven't caught up with you all. For some reason I haven't been getting any email notifications. I'm guessing it's coz i haven't been logged in for a week or so and I pretty much read what I get notifications for when I don't have time to surf all the threads. Oh well...you can't have everything I guess and right now, I just don't have the time.

So there you go...swimming along nicely, no problems, feeling great and getting smaller each and every day. God you gotta love this program. Hopefully I can find some time during the week to catch up with everyone's progress, but we'll see how it goes, but either way, I'll update my ticker first thing in the morning before heading off to work so you can all see my update.

Happy losing everyone, and enjoy your week...xxxx

Starting Date: 5th March, 2007
Starting Weight: 113.3kg
Weight Loss the last 1.5 weeks: 2.8kg
Goal Weight: 55-58kg (as per Dr Cohen) My aim is 56-57kg

Hi Minny

Just thought I would pop in and read your diary. I am getting myself motivated....I am off to my Cohen's seminar tomorrow. I can't wait to start the program and watch the kilo's melt away.

Well done on a terrific job - you sound like you are loving the results. Keep at it girl.

Hi everyone!!!

Remember me???? Sorry i've beena way for sooooooo long, but you know how it is - life seems to take over. I've been so busy since the new job, and i'm only sitting here for a few minutes waiting for the last of the washing to dry so i can put it away before heading to bed.

Well, if anyone is reading, the weight loss is going soooooo well. Im nearly at the end of week 24 and as you can see from my ticker, i'm down 36.8kg. How exciting.

I still have not deviated once yet, and that is something that i'm so proud of.

Life is good.....

Hope you are all sticking with it and going great guns. I'll try and get on a bit more, but as i said, life seems to take over, and especially considering how much energy i hav these days, i tend not to spend all my spare time on the computer like i used to ....god love it.

Happy losing everyone...xxxxxxx

Hi Minny, It's great to see you are doing so well. You deserve to be proud of yourself not deviating. Congratulations! Of course, we remember you! Cheers Cate ( a 'Cohenite' forever.)

Minny,
You are a star...how good do you look now, cheer me on and get these last few kilos off. We are going to be hot together
Bec

Hi Minnie

I know it's late to reply to this thread, but don't let your mum ever get to you like that. Some people just always know better and can never just appreciate. My mum's a bit the same, so just stick to your guns. It was good reading your post!
