I finally have a new phone! Will be so nice not to run out of battery after an hour of using it. Currently updating it so this another quick update. Stats below.

What phone did you buy, 101? I really need a new one, especially one with a good battery. I may be done with iphones.

I got a Huawei. Can't comment on the battery just yet, but I am loving the camera.

Weight

I haven't posted my full food diary in the last couple of days, but it has been pretty good on both calories and macros. Today is the first day that I would say that I have had "empty" calories (which in today's case is booze). I have so far been to the gym 3 times this week, so I am looking like I will be hitting my target for hitting the gym 4 times :) Summary:

Food
2 boiled eggs and avocado
Chorizo with salad and brown rice
A protein bar
Basa with black bean sauce

Drinks
3 teas
3 orange squashHomes
A large glass of red wine
A large gin and diet tonic

Nutrition
1,489 calories (target: 1,299)
82g protein (target: 82g)
49g fat (target: 43g)
Carbs (target: 104g)

One frustrating thing of getting a new phone is re-downloading apps and finding out that it's not how it was with my old phone. It seems like I didn't update my food logging app for a very long, as this version on my phone will not let me enter the nutrition details manually as you scan the barcodes. My issue with that is that I cook all of my evening meals in bulk (6 weeks in advance) and I write down the ingredients which is then entered into the app when I eat the meal. Obviously all of packaging as been thrown away, so now I can't scan the food! As such, I had to pick the best match on the list of food the app gave me based on calories. I think the macros are a bit better than what I've recorded, but not too far away from the truth either.

Exercise
Kettlebell class - 165 calories burned (target: 10,000)
Steps 8,564 (target: 10,000)

Work
I've not been too busy so have struggled to get motivated. However, that has all changed as my manager has set me quite a difficult task to do over the next few days. I've promised myself to get into work an hour early each day so I can get it done without in encroaching onto my other duties, so I can leave the department in October with a good impression.

Home
I need to chase the decorator et al to arrange when they can come round.

Relationships
Both girls I wanted to contact have been contacted. I have also downloaded my shared calendar app so now I can unleash the to-do lists on my boyfriend

Looks like you did fine today 1,489 calories isn't bad, without the drinks you'd have been under. I know the dilemma, I like a drink now and then but the empty calories are not good for me. My compromise is to have a drink once in a while, but a lot less than I used to. That seems to work for me, looks like you have a similar strategy.

Hang in there, you are doing well!

Thank you :) yeah as you say, the key is moderation!

The last few days have gone pretty well. I had a very British day today. We did the 1940s do where everyone was dressed up and driving around in military vehicles. I ate a coronation chicken sandwich and a Sunday roast. I have no idea how many calories they were, so I am relying on my calorie counting app/intuition. (However, I can report both things were very tasty!)

This the week in summary:

Average calorie intake: 1,464
Average calorie burn: 2,078
Gym: 5 visits
Average steps: 9,971

Tomorrow is weigh-in day, so we shall see how accurate the above figures are :) I will wait until tomorrow to set my goals, as I may feel differently about thinking I've done well if there is no result after week 2!

Sounds like great fun! :)
Did you do hair and make-up in style? I guess the make-up would be easier than the hair - at least, the mental image I'm getting of a hair-style could be tricky to pull off - with a puffy sort of roll at the front?

Most of us cheated by putting fake flowers in our hair. I can imagine it would take ages to do it properly. I have never used a hair roller in my life!

Weight
The scales said that I am now 9 stone 12lbs, which makes a 1.5lb loss :)
My measurements have shown a loss as well:
Bust: 35 inches (down 1 inch)
Waist: 27.5 inches (down 1/2 inch)
Hips: 38.5 inches (down 1/2 inch)

I achieved my goals last week of going to the gym 4 times and cutting down on booze (I had 5 drinks over the course of 3 days).
I want the above this week to continue. I will add in extra goal this week is to try do more than one class in one day so I have a better calorie burn.

Today
Today was a little meh, but I haven't done terribly. I was very busy at work so I didn't really go any walking today. However, I did get loads done at work so I happy with that. The diet has also been fairly serviceable. I found out that my calorie counting app has been working absolutely fine. It's just me who didn't realise that the to add in calories was right at the bottom of a really long list  I even emailed their technical support as I was convinced something was wrong.

Food
2 eggs and chorizo slices
Ham with spinach and homemade potato salad
A protein bar
Cod curry
A cookie

Drinks
3 teas
2 orange squashes
1 camomile tea

Calories: 1,296 (target: 1,299)
63g fat (target: 44g)
103g carbs (target: 104g)
92g protein (target: 130g)

Work
I have 1 week left at my current department. I tried to get to work an hour early as I had set myself this target when I realised how busy I was going to be, but ended up only being 40 minutes early as I massively underestimated the traffic. As such, I have set myself a new target of making sure that I weigh/tally up all of my food the night before so I can be out of the house straight away.

Home
I still need to chase people for work I need doing. Ongoing but very slowly...

Relationships
The calendar and to-do lists have been unleashed :D

Oh dear, not been a good couple of weeks! I have been rather stressed out for a few reasons. Mainly work related.

1. I worked like a trooper in the last week of my seat to make sure that I could leave the department on a good note. I was given a huge piece of work just before I was about to finish (my supervisor forgot that I was finishing on 30 September!) so I stayed late every night, took work home, and worked over the weekend. I was also put under a lot of pressure as my supervisor gave me some proceedings that had to be issued on the same day, which was a lot of running to and from the court. I hit all of the deadlines and never got so much as a thank you.

2. I arranged my appraisal with the above supervisor, which a compulsory meeting as I can't qualify until all of the relevant forms have been signed. He took one look at the form and went "I haven't got time to go through that" and then sent me out of his office. I was fuming.

3. I have now changed departments so I am trying to be on my best behaviour. I then got a flat tyre on Thursday on the way to work, so I was an hour and half late to work on my 3rd day. My new supervisor was lovely about it, but even so.

4. When my tyre was getting changed the AA guy advised me that he couldn't find my wheel locking nut key anywhere. The tyre was flat as a pancake so I had no choice but to sign a disclaimer so he could chisel my wheel out. I called the garage that I had my car serviced who said that they have a master set so would never use my wheel locking nut key, so the dealer I bought it from must have never given me one. I then called the dealer who said that was ridiculous as part of the service should be checking whether I have a wheel locking nut. Naturally, they are blaming each other so I am now stuck with no way of changing my tyre until one of them gives in.

5. I went to the pub on Friday night and lost my purse. I can't even blame the drinking as I had only had two pints when I realised! I have looked for it everywhere but no luck. I spent all of yesterday sorting out my cards and the bank would only let me take out £50.00 in cash. Not ideal when I need money for petrol and a new tyre!

I haven't exercised in just over a week and have been eating/drinking all of the wrong things.

RANT OVER.

All of this will change tomorrow. My friend and I have agreed that we are going to start going to the gym before work. I am also about to make a salad to last me for lunch this week. Here's to a new week :)

Good for you turning lemons into lemonade. That is a very bad run of luck & you have had more than your fair share. Tomorrow is indeed another day xo

@DietAccountability101 That is an awesome diary! :)
I am really happy to see that you are so organized, and you can put everything together.
Love yourself and keep going all of that and you will achieve everything you want to! :grouphug:

Do you have a good recipe for protein bars? I need something new :)

Thank you all :) today was a better day all round. I need to remember write a post on here every day if possible. I feel so much better for it already.

Thank you very much :) I just buy grenade bars if I'm honest. My boyfriend likes them as well, so it doesn't seem too expensive when we're sharing.
