McDonalds Diet

Blood pressure and cholesterol are.

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure that a diet of only Macdonald's would have an adverse affect on both.

Blood pressure and cholesterol are.

Yip, damn right you are as the article concludes that too :-
Truth In Fitness said:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I am saying that exercise was the reason for my improvements and not the fact that I only ate McDonald’s food for 30 days. If you were to take exercise out of the equation, I would have gained 30 to 40 pounds of body fat, and I can not tell you how my cholesterol would have reacted; This is where education becomes very important...

Can someone explain to me how this guy was able to lower his cholestrol/bp by eating only Mcdonalds?

How was he able to eat all the saturated/trans fats/oils from all those burgers and even with his normal exercise be able to lower it?

When he was eating normally, was he exercising at the same intensity as on this special diet, or while on this Mcdie's diet did he train twice as hard ( which might be why he was able to lower cholestrol )

BUT if he did this:

ate normal food, exercises same intensity = Normal cholestrol
ate **** food, exercised the same = was able to somehow lower cholestrol

How?

Once I reach my goal of becoming a lean mean fighting machine, I'll be able to do a Chazz Weaver "stunt". I might even be able to convince McD's or KFC to part with some sponsorship dosh.

I think he increased his training as he said in his conclusion that he would have gained a lot of weight if it wasn't for that.

The point was that he gained weight despite his McDonalds diet, not because of it. He proved the McDonalds isn't some kind of magical fat creator, there are other factors behind the obesity epidemic as well as fast food

I'm glad someone has done this, Supersize Me was a dumb and pointless exercise where a guy set out to eat himself to death and then blamed the food at the end.

He only trained 30-90 minutes per day. With 30 minutes on the cycle included. Being lean helps, and that was a huge benefactor for him. And CCR, he lost weight.

Super Size Me was actually the opposite of this. Spurlock did not exercise, and showed that for those people who eat McDonalds and dont exercise, they will gain some serious weight. IMO Spurlocks version was more for the everyday person, while this guy showed how valuable exercise is.

I know, but he said in his conclusion that he would have gained 40-50lbs had he just sat on his arse all day and ate that diet (not his exact words but you get the idea)

I don't see how Supersize Me relates to your average person in any way at all though, Spurlock ate until he was sick on a regular basis, how many people do that?

McDonalds taste like cardboard, i really dont get how people eat it

Spread the word- dont eat at makky ds, come on people lets close em down haha

Nooooooo.....Jackie......! :)

Except for their black coffee, hehhe. And some of their carefully selected salads. My wife is a area manager for McDonald's in Kansas, so I have first hand knowledge of the nutrional attributes of their foods. Sometimes she brings home some left over cookies and stuff; bad girl, bad girl, but I just recall my intense willpower, and its over an out.....done. :)

How are you Jackie?

They essentially ate the same amount of cals. However Spurlock didnt exercise at all. One of the major differences was that Spurlock ate fries. But they did have different guidelines to follow.

In the beginning Spurlock was sick because he wasnt used to eating that much. But after some time he was fine.

Was his level of exercise the same before he started this Mcdie's diet, or did he up the exercise and calorie burning time when he started eating these foods?

If he continued to do the same amount of exercise he usually did, how in the world was he able to lower his cholestrol eating **** like Mcdonalds?

Doesn't make sense.

Couple things-Spurlock was a vegetarian and suddenly he was eating a lot of meat and processed foods. He didn't count calories and would often hit 5-7000 calories a day. And the fact that he didn't have any exercise contributed a lot to this.
