LOST--For fans of the show

preview for next week!! Dont click if you dont like spoilers... its reveals whos attacking the island!

(sorry, not next week, two weeks from now)

Hi all!! Me and the wife are huge lost fans. Glad to see other of you out there as well.

I love the twist and turns that develop and can not wait to see how the story will end. Did anyone figure out how desmond was able to go back and forth in time like that?

Well now we know how Ben got Sayid to be his hit man. He better not kill Penny, though. :cuss: I cannot bear to see Desmond crushed again. :D

When Claire's house exploded, I thought for sure that was how Kate ended up with Aaron.

Wasn't Sawyer all sweet and protective of Claire and Hurley? What's up with that? Just makes me want to fack his brains out even more. :smilielol5:

I was sad they killed off Danielle, Karl and Alex. :( What was even more shocking was that Ben actually showed a capacity for love, bawling over his dead "daughter's" body. He is somewhat human after all, but still a ruthless self serving SOB.

I am looking forward to Locke, Ben and Hurley paying Jacob a visit.

Hopefully this next episode we'll finally see what has been up with Hurley, Locke and Ben. And hey, perhaps they'll meet up with Claire, seeing as how she went off with Christian in the night (who Hurley saw rocking in the chair in Jacob's cabin).

And it was great to see Jack's destruction last episode. It filled in the gaps.

I just can't wait for this one though. I have to admit I'm more interested in the cabin at the moment rather than the ship.

I'm dying to know what's going on with Claire and Christian. I mean, she would not just leave Aaron there like that willingly.

I agree about the gaps being filled in re Jack's self-destruction. It was interesting what Hurley said to him about it being heaven. Mainly b/c the producers have said from the beginning that they're not dead or in purgatory, etc.

I, too, am interested in what happens next with Ben and Locke at Jacob's cabin. Do you know if that will be addressed tomorrow night? It didn't look like it from the previews I've seen. :cuss:

Interesting that white girl speaks Korean. I suspected that, too. Hangook mal chal ashin dae yo! Chogetda!

Wow, what a MINDBLOWING episode! That was crazy! And hey, we did see Claire!

So Alpert wasn't only keeping tabs on Ben, but also on Locke. I wonder if they were born on the same day/same time :D Like some "prophesy".

And Abaddon! Even he was looking out for Locke. He pretty much pushed Locke into the Walkabout, which we all know is what lead him to being on Flight 815.

My theory about Abaddon is that he was the original leader of the Others that Ben talked about to Hurley. The guy he said gave the order for the "Purge".

And what the heck... MOVE the Island? This is just crazy, and I love it!

I know--that episode was awesome! If you are in NZ, how do you catch the latest epis? I thought they were a season behind over there, and only people in North America allowed to access them on ABC's website. Just curious, b/c a girl in England here tried to go to abc.com and couldn't access them. Are they on youtube or something?

There is some theory that Locke and Ben have the same mother--both their mother's names are Emily. However, I think there is some discrepancy in time re that.

When I saw that they guy pushing Locke in the wheel chair was black, I knew it was Abbadon before they showed his face--eerie. I wonder how Alpert never ages. Is he going back in time, or has he figured out the fountain of youth? :D

That scene in the cabin with Locke, Christian and Claire freaked me out. I think they are both "dead." Whatever that means. It's funny that the psychic told her that only she must raise her baby, and yet now it looks like Kate is meant to raise him?????? Was that just a ruse to get her on the plane? Claire did not seem like her normal self in the cabin. It was odd. One would think she'd be distraught at giving up her son. She almost seemed drunk. I was on the message boards a bit last night, and someone proposed the theory that Claire died in the explosion that Sawyer rescued her from--and that's why Miles couldn't take his eyes off her the other week when Sawyer gave him his "restraining order." Miles is a clairavoyant, so perhaps he's known all along that she's dead, but couldn't figure out why everyone else could see her--and it appeared she was still nursing Aaron.

I cannot wait to see what goes down on the island next, with Mr. Ex-marine returning. Will the pilot and Sayid save the day? What was with the bag with the map and phone in it that was tossed from the helicopter to the Losties on the beach? Is it so Sayid can contact them? I believe he also has a phone.

I d/l the episodes :) I can't wait for them to come out here as I frequent a couple of Lost message boards, but I still make sure to watch the episodes on t.v. as well. Gives me a chance to recap them :D

Yeah, Ben's mother died when she gave birth, whereas Locke's mother is still alive.

The thing that most people think with Alpert is that he is an original inhabitant of the Island. Before Dharma, before the Black Rock. Some people even think he was from the Black Rock (the slave/mining ship that crash landed on the Island). And still more think he has four toes :D So I don't know. I do think he's been around for a LONG time though :)

Yeah, I've read that theory around the place as well, that Claire is dead. The only reason I don't think that is because the deaths usually need to be explicit for them to really mean anything on the Island. Mikhail supposedly died multiple times, but was only killed once the grenade went off. And even then, the producers had to confirm it :D But I do think it's a pretty cool theory, especially with the whole Miles thing.

About the psychic. Remember when Eko went to visit him about his daughter, he came clean and said he was just a fraud. So, it's hard to tell. He originally said Claire had to raise the baby herself. But then he told her he found a suitable family in LA, and she needed to get on this flight (815) that he'd bought the ticket for. Personally, I think someone like Matthew Abaddon, or Richard Alpert might have gotten to him, given him money to tell her to get on the plane, and yeah.

Now the phone, I think, is doing exactly what Jack said it was doing. That is, getting them all to follow the helicopter. I think Frank wants them to get to the helicopter so he can take them off the Island. The only thing between them is Keamy and his crew :D We all know who gets off the Island, it's just a matter of how, why, and what happens to the rest of them. It's setting up to be a huge finale.

Where do you download the epis from?
I think you are right about Alpert being very old--an original inhabitant maybe. He never ages, so it's strange how he manages to pull that off. I wanna know--as looking 30 forever would be a beautiful thing. :D Vampire??

It's definitely setting up to be a huge finale. I cannot wait!! So the 2008-09 season is the last, correct? :nopity: It'll be sad to have it all over, but it will be nice to finally figure everything out. :)

So you're a Kiwi, eh? My H is an Aussie--so your neighbor. One of his gran's was from NZ. I've been to the Auckland airport a few times, but that doesn't count..lol. H says NZ is the most beautiful country he's been to so far. :)

And why are they calling him Jeremy Bentham?? That guy, btw, was a great admirer of the real John Locke from the 17th century. So there is another philospher/scientist connection.

So, are Jin and Michael really dead? What about Claire?

Glad to see Des and Penny reunited finally. :)

Lots of questions answered, and of course lots more asked. I can't believe they're making us wait until Jan again. :cuss:

Yea, the only reason he has a different name would be to hide his identity and keep the secret that he was on flight 815.. I think anyways..

I think Michael is dead for sure, maybe Jin jumped off- but since the island is gone who knows if he could stay alive.. Claire- I am not so sure about.

Yea, Des and Penny - was a great scene alot of people on the forums were disappointed though, said it wasn't as dramatic as they would like. I thought it was nice though. :)

I still this Charlotte is Annie and Ben's daughter, especially since she said she was looking for the place she was born :D

....

I also think that Sun may be teaming up with pennys dad to get revenge against jack- he said that sun blamed him, and also told her dad two people were responsible for Jin's death..

EDIT: yea, I can't wait till Jan.. they said there will be two more seasons. Makes me happy :D

Two more seasons? That's cool--especially as they're really not full seasons when they only have new epis from Jan-May, and even then not every week.

I thought the scene with Penny and Des was good. No need for melodrama. Sometimes less is more. :)

Why would Sun blame Jack? Wasn't it the pilot who refused to go back for him? If they had, they wouldn't have made it in the air in time before the boat blew up.

I think Michael and Jin are still alive. Christian appeared and told him he could go now--his work was done.

Did any of you hear Mr. Eko say something to Hurley? I heard something right before Hurley turned around and check mated him. Almost like he was telling him to make a move.

I don't know why Sun blames jack, but he said she did- I can't wait to see how that pans out..

I also didn't hear anything with Mr.Eko.. I may have to re watch it just to see. I was reading the forums last night and someone enhanced and reversed the phone call Kate got in her dream that had Claire in it .. It said something along the lines of " The island needs you, you have to go back" or something.. let me see if I can find the link..

I heard that reversed phone call to Kate. I taped the episode, and there is definitely a voice that says something to Hurley. It's what makes him turn around and make a chess move before he leaves.

Edit:Nevermind. I just re-watched it and the voice isn't there. That is so weird, b/c I replayed it like 3 times the first time I watched it b/c I couldn't understand what was being said. Am I hearing things?? :D
