I have 22 to lose.. So I'm right there with ya inspiration!!

We can do this byy.. Well, what kind of goals do you have?
 
I'm also looking for a diet buddy. someone to challenge me, and i'll do the same. I'm not on a named diet. i'm just looking to change my lifestyle. Change all the junk food and fast food i eat to healthy and delicious food. I want to start exercising instead of watching tv and eating. I'm up for anything. i want to lose 65 lbs. So, if anyone could help...PLEASE DO.

What alot of us do here which help's is join a challange.
There is 1 that just started for Dec and 1 starting Jan1 you set
a mini goal's,and before you know the weight is disapearing!
There are also exersice threads to keep ya obligated to exersicing.

My best advice is to throw on your gym clothes and shoes, put on your headphones, open up your front door, and take off jogging. Don't worry if you only make it 10 feet before you have to start walking- just keep moving as fast as you can. 10-15 minutes is all you need. Do this 3-5 times a week to build up time and distance.

In the mean time, surf the menus and nutritional information online for your favorite fast food places. Find out the healthier choices on the menu (most fast food establishments are expanding their healthy offerings these days). This way when you get stuck eating fast food, you know what's best for you.

Then go to the store shopping as normal, but don't just look at what you're buying, look at the choices around it. Most items have organic, low fat, non fat, low sugar, no sugar, etc. alternatives. Start substituting some of these guys into your cart and over a short period of time, you'll find out what you like. Pay attention to the nutritional info on the foods you eat. By doing this, you will begin to gain a sense of what's healthy and what's not and will have a better idea of what to order at restaurants when you don't have the info in front of you.

The rest of it is automatic. Within a short amount of time, you will feel really good and your body will crave exercise and healthy food. If you want more tips and/or motivation, I lost 80 Lbs and wrote an e book about it. You can read the entire thing for free at my blog at .

*And don't worry, I won't try to sell you anything. I was in a bad spot with my weight at one point and I know how annoying it is being given advice online in an attempt to sell a product.

I'll be your diet buddy!! I had just posted a thread about trying to find someone in the 190s to diet with. It's nice to go through the same hurdles together.

Hey everyone! :D I am looking for a buddy to talk to and we both can keep each other on track. I'm currently 188 lbs and looking to lose about 74 more lbs.
 
I bet you are so excited about getting married...have you booked a nice honeymoon too?? Have you bought your own dress? Well, Im doing fairly well at weight watchers...this is only my 2nd week though...I lost 2lbs this week. Ive been trying to be more active too...trying to walk places instead of using the car...and Ive borrowed my hubby's push bike to go a few places. I went on a 2hr bike ride with my friend on friday....we hadn't planned on going for that long...but....when u get nattering you go further than you think. I'd like to lose another 2 lbs this week. Ive decided on Xmas eve, Xmas day, boxing day, newyears eve and new years day to eat whatever I like...I know I'll put on a few pounds...but....hopefully I'll soon lose that. I want to enjoy all the Xmas goodies and not worry about counting any points. Anyway keep in touch! Keep up the good work girls...we can do it !!!!!!

Hiya, a stone is 14 pounds...lol. I need to lose this by easter!!! Ive already managed to lose 6lbs...so Im getting there!!
 
I am in girlie I need to lose 45 lbs before March-springtime~~!
I have lots of birthdays ect and I wanna show off in shorts this year
not wearing jeans and xxlg tshirt when it is 100 degrees out like I have
done the past 3 years the other 2 years I could atleast wear capris.

hi I'm new here.
I need a buddy who is trying to lose around the same amount of wiehgt I am, I want someone who can challenge me as well. I'm 5'4" and I'm trying to loose 30 pounds. Help!
 
to lose 5 pounds each week u have to burn 17500 cal each week
