Let's Rock Motivation Club!!!!!!

Thanks for your ideas, I suppose if I add another 10 minutes to my cardio workouts for the rest of the week it would make up for the missed workout today.

I might follow your lead RNWoman, and post my daily goals so that I can review and check them at the end of the day.

goals for Wednesday:
Cycle 19.5km ( currently doing 19km)
Do a weight session
Eat 3 pieces of fruit

OK so the goals sound very much within my abilities, there's no reason not to achieve them, right I'm feeling very positive about tomorrow.

Lets go fellow "losers":)

RNwoman how do you find the Optima shakes? Do they fill you up? Do you miss having crunch at breakfast and lunch?

The new optima shakes from slim fast curb your hunger for 4 hours! I bought mine last night at wal mart they are in pharmacies as well over here and grocery stores not real sure about there in australia! I caught a deal and you get 2 cans free for right now so you get 8 cans for the price of 6 and its almost 6 dollars american price:D I love it i had the cappaccino delight for breakfast i love cappaccino so that worked great! so ************ 1 goal down breakfast!!!!!

I will report and let you know i just started these optima shakes today but i have friends who have lost and highly recommend it!:D

Posting daily goals is a great idea! If you make them small and achievable, you can feel good about yourself and loose weight in the process!

Red, good luck with the Slim fast shakes diet!

Aussie chick, good luck with your goals today and yeah for awesome positive attitude! Small goals and reaching them can be really empowering!

You all have great ideas i know we will all succeed! I am just so excited to watch us hit our goals daily and to see us all work hard and end up so happy!!!

I know why i've had an off couple days *DUH* thanks for reminding me everyone.

I haven't been writing my daily schedual or my daily goals out in my diary for the last 2 days! Back adder for tomorrow.

You guys are doing awesome, keep up the great work!!!

My goals are to:

1.Make a evening meal plan from some recipes on this site for Monday the 24 and the following two weeks (grocery shopping day).

2.Continue to resist fast food at all costs *8th day straight* *does my happy dance* Only 13 more days until it is a habit!

3.Walk atleast a mile a day, but try for two or more.

Ugh! I need motivation you guys,... it's already been two days and I haven't been exercising at all. I'm getting way to lazy....:(

Put on some of your favorite music... close your bedroom door, and dance your butt off... its great aerobic exercise, it's fun, you'll look silly sometimes, but that's why the door is closed :) and well - it gets you moving..

Thought of the day

Just when you think you can't go any further you push on through. That is where the champions are made.

My aerobics instructor says this at the hardest point during the work out. It never fails just when I'm huffing and puffing and ready to take it easy she says this phrase and it spurs me to keep on going.

Just thought I would share!

HB29 - You can do it! Just put that one foot in front of the other and move!! Think about losing just 1lb......come on we can do it together! I'm off to the gym this morning, come and join me (in spirit I mean!):)

Ah its another beautiful day! Everybody ready for what the day has to offer? :D

Just think, that one little thing extra thing your debating on doing. Like an extra 10 minutes on the treadmill, or bike, will pay off in the end. We can do it! -dances-

Don't forget that water! Drink up, and stay motivated.

Thank you for incauraging and inspirational words! Sometimes it is really good to hear/read them! :)

I'm happy to report that I've stayed on track yesterday, did my workout and ate 1300 calories. Today planning on another good day. :)

Awesome! Staying on track no matter how difficult, always seems to help inspire you for the next day. So that should be incentive to stay on track right? Oh I did very well today, and I'm all a quiver just thinking about tomorrow's excitement. ^^

WoOt! :D We rock!

Another day and... whats this? Two posts right after one another?

Well, here's todays morning motivation. If your out walking or biking, don't think about how much farther you have to go, but how far you've already gone. I find that if I think... " Only 5 more minutes... only 5 more minutes", it drags the time on. Where as if I go, " wow... 4 miles already? Awesome! Just think of how that will pay off in the end". Then while I'm fantasizing about the end of this journey, I've already made it way past my goal line.

Todays randomness: " Smile and the world smiles back". :D

That's great idea! Yes, I've always kept thinking of how much longer I have to go doing exercise, and not only it drags, I hated it more with every minute. This trick may definitely help. I do have to say that while doing cardio I need to keep my mind occupied on something else, otherwise its too hard to get done.

I had a good day today, went to the gym and cycled 20.1kms. I agree with you NTL cardio can be extremely boring. Theres only so many music videos you can look at while huffing and puffing on the treadmill.:) Another way to combat the boredom is to break it up into 5 minute lots. I tell myself I only have to keep at this pace for 5 minutes, then I'll set another goal for the next 5 minutes and before you know it the hours gone:)

HB29 - how's it going? Have you started exercising....come on we can do it:)

Ok Lets Rock All Of You I Am Back On Track And The Numbers Are Moving I Am Gonna Get You All Pumped Up Now Cause I Am Focused And Ready To Push You Each As Well Come Monday Morn!!!!!!!!! Weigh In Was 234.4 Wooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooo Lets Goooooooooooooooooooooooo

Anyway, we can so do it! I'll come baring gifts next time, a couple pictures of the beautiful sunrise I see every morning when I bike. Very inspiring.
