Leslie's Journal..

Today I worked out butt, thighs, and abs. I used the band for the butt and thighs and did crunches and mountain climbers with pushups for abs. :D Feel pretty good. And my shoulders are sore from yesterday. But that is just weakness leaving the body right :D
 
See....this is the kind of bulls#%* that gets me......

Here's this sweet nice gal who would probably be friendly & nice to just about anyone, and yet, here in SoCal she's be elevated to the status of Goddess and cop an attitude. In fact, Leslie could be half as hot and still walk around with a Goddess attitude out here.

Every time I meet some hottie who hasn't got a nasty b!tch attitude, I just know she's from out-of-state.

Congrats on the baby...and on your same birthday, that's pretty neat. As for your fitness goals, I think you're splitting hairs in terms of improving things....but I'd sugges checking-out some spinning classes as well; that'll put some nice size, tone & definition to those legs. I'm not saying to pass on the weights, just incorporate some spin/bike and you shoudl see some pretty good results....but please feel free to continue posting pics!!! PURELY for progress & scientific purposes....or course. :D


Btw....there's some gal at our gym who has had 4 children and she's in amazing shape: she stands as a beacon to all those mothers who like to contend that having kids destroyed their bodies forever, when the truth is, the Haagen-Daz did it.

Btw...smart idea blow-drying your hair in heels; in the event of an electrical malfunction, the shoes will keep you well insulated from shock!! Clever gal! :D
 
Hi Leslie! Sorry to hijack your journal but I wanted to say thank you for the PM you sent me, that was really sweet of you. I can't reply yet, I think because I haven't been a member long enough.

You are still looking good and your baby is sooo cute! I can attest that baby can give you a workout. When my boy was born by arms were sore for the next three months from just carrying him around!

that is a great picture

you are skinny, and soft and feminine. Popping abs is going to come from building some muscles, and then they will show.

and if you want them to show when you are on yoru back, playing with a baby, they are going to have to big and developed enough.

Compliments you have plenty. BUT, you are not a builder, you are a "refiner" and when you refine, and widdle away fat, you are only able to reveal what you have under neath.

And for now, that is a skeletal structure.

Lift heavier, eat to build, and see results, OR-- accept the body type and life style you have.

Ok first I'm not one of those girls that seeks guys attention, I have all the attention I need from my bf! He is the reason I am working out. I want to always look good for HIM. So the posting pics are to show if I have some progress or not. Had I not posted any, you wouldn't know what I look like and couldn't tell me to lift or spin or anything. You could guess what I could do just by me telling you my weight, but not actually look at me and see where I need to work on things. Also the first pic, NOT DRYING MY HAIR!! that is actually a picture that my bf was going to use to put with his car and enter it into a contest for a calander. That wasn't intended for this forum. I just found a pic that had my whole body in it. And from that pic to the newest one posted, I have lost weight...so see there was a reason to post.

Just a question for you, How exactly would you like me to post my pics? I don't want anyone complaining. I don't complain about anyone's pics on here. I see guys in boxers, I won't wear my underwear because my bathing suit covers more :D

SORRY. I was not being a dick to you at all. Seriously. If you read my post I was complaining about how you're all nice, sweet & friendly and the girls out here (SoCal) are not. Indirect compliments to ya!

I know you weren't blow-drying your hair, someone else made reference to that and I just ran with it. You're pic rivals Demi Moore and I'd almost hate to think you've lost weight since then...cause (and others have already commented on this)....you're in great shape already.

I think there are 2 kinds of pics.....one kind is where someone just stands there like a corpse, let's it all hang-out and someone snaps a pic. The other kind is where someone turns their body, adjust things, wears something somewhat flattering and makes the most of it. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Frankly, I think the best way to improve is to see what you have and look for what you'd like to improve...so wearing something sexy is like putting a test-drive to a car. Aw heck, it all doesn't matter.

As for wearing heels to prevent electricution.....just a joke. I love that pic. I have to admit, I've even gone back to page 1 a couple times just to check it out (who hasn't?).

Like I said, I was just having a little fun & joking around...but given that you don't know me & how I started the post....I can understand why & how you'd think I was messin' with ya. Sorry.

Absolutely.....we did our nails, put-up our hair and watched American Idol while pretending to eat bon-bons. It was fab! :D

Leslie even said she might post-up a booty shot, just so we can evaluate her glut's....strictly evaluation purposes! No woman on this website is seen as a piece of meat, no matter how lean the cut she is! :D

ok...well the past 2 days I haven't done any workouts but I walked 2 miles each day with the little one in his babywearer. So it was an extra 17lbs. I have been super busy because the boyfriend came home today and I had to cook for him and clean the house and wash his clothes. :D So I kinda been working out lol.
