Leslie's Journal..

I guess I am going to start one. But I think my journal will be more of a picture journal maybe every 2 or 3 weeks? I don't know...

Today I did a belly butt and thighs dvd and I felt soooooo great afterwards...until...the little one woke up from his nap lol. I plan on doing at least one dvd that I have everyday!

I get to go to the gym tomorrow so I will do some workouts with weights! :D I'm excited about that!!!

Here is a pic that I am going to post as my Starter Pic:
Taken about a month ago...3 months after having my boy:

I think I will add one maybe every 2 weeks to see if there is a difference. Hopefully there will be!!!

:D Thanks everyone...

I worked out with dumbbells today I did shoulders back and biceps...:D It felt good! I miss going to the gym sooooooo much! I'm hoping to go tomorrow too!

So what exactly are you trying to change/accomplish? Specifically.

At first I thought that picture was you getting your hair ready, then I seen how your legs are :D

I was thinking exactly what I want to do yesterday and I decided that I want to build muscle in my legs! Everyone tells me they are too skinny :( Also I want to tone my arms, maybe build a little muscle in them. And ABS! I want abs! I can't think of anyone I want to look like, but I think yall get the idea maybe?

no pink dumbbells for me lol! I use the real thing! :D You know the ones at the gym. I know I have to lift heavy, but I really don't have the time. :( Which SUCKS! But I'm going to work with what I have...Just try and do something so I don't feel so lazy all the time. Today I didn't workout. I have had a major headache. :( I feel a little bad tho for not doing at least abs. But maybe I will feel better tomorrow and I can double up on exercising! :D

I would recommend the New Rules of Lifting For Women, or just the New Rules of Lifting (thats the one I have) It's a quality book with legitimate information and programs that anyone can see results from.

But besides that, women that do deads and squats usually have hot legs :)

I WANT HOT LEGS! :D

Here is a workout that I think I am going to try for legs.

Plie Squat with Dumbbell 4 sets of 12-15
Dumbbell Stiff Leg Curl 3 sets of 12-15
Dumbbell Squat with Bench 4 sets of 12-15
Standing Dumbbell Calf Raise 3 sets of 30

That is what I have as of right now...and with my abs I am doing the boot camp DVD

first of all you look great!!!

secondly I would recommend an exercise ball for ab workouts. I love mine and there are many things you can do with one. I'm getting quite defined in the ab area and I attribute it to the exercise ball.

I don't have one lol! I just eat whatever. I have always done that. Plus I have to eat a lot because I breastfeed. I take prenatal vitimans also. I don't think that has anything to do with my diet tho. I eat a lot of baked chicken tho. And I eat a lot of Thai food which is spicy...

And I will go ahead and admit it...I eat fast food...McDonalds Wendys Krystals Taco Bell and Popeyes within the last couple of months...

Don't hate on me too much please :D

I WANT HOT LEGS! :D

You already have HOT LEGS!

Training them will turn them into:

Absolutely stunning, and blistering hot award winning "male attractants", that will go beyond your wildest dreams, and become the "state of the art" in which all legs will be measured.

A Modern Art Masterpiece.

:D

PEACE!

Best wishes,

Chillen

Leslie,

You've absolutely got a great foundation. Congrats!

I think you are really on the right track for building great legs. Pretty much any type of squatting movement will add great shape to your butt, hamstrings and thighs (not that you don't have it already). The only possibility of a lacking exercise, for definition mostly, would be some type of leg extension. I'm not sure if you have any way of doing an extension, and maybe the plie squats will do the trick. If not, maybe incorporate some kind of lunge. That should really help with some definition/seperation in your quads.

Keep up the good work, you look great!

Where have you been? How's your training going?
