Just to be clear, does it mean a different exercise everyday so therefore 7 new exercises or does it mean the same new exercise for the 7 days?
 
Maybe it means any (same or new) exercise which you dislike but is good for you according your choice. My only concern is that some days of the week I work 14.5 hours which means I won't have more than let's say 5 minutes to do the disliked exercise but I hope it still counts. Something I hate are sit ups, squats and leg launches so that's what I am going to do as a "nasty" exercise.


Ahhhh Sorry, just saw a new OR disliked! Well, let's see what the boss will say.

OK, I made my mind. For challenge exercise I will do this video:



There are 7 different videos so it suits me perfectly.

I have a question, do the challenge exercise count towards our 100 min?
 
Just the same exercise for seven days is fine but you can do seven new ones if you like ^-^ This does count for your exercise minutes yes.
 
Great, it would be a bit complicated to come up with a new one every day. I've got a lot of things that I haven't tried yet on my Wii. Today my husband is taking me out climbing hills. I love walking on flat ground but hate hills so that will count.
 
I like this challenge!! My plan for the week will be as follows:

Take the stairs every day at work - NO ELEVATOR!! The elevators are under construction anyway, making them extra super slow.

The days I don't go to the gym, I will complete the workout linked above. I love that! I usually miss the days that I go to the chiropractor, so this is a great quick way to get some cardio in.

Gotta get myself MOVING! I worked out for 45 minutes day not including cool down and stretching - I can't say how great it felt to just work for that period of time and sweat. It was great!
 
Alright, color me stupid, but is today our check-in day for week one?

Yes it is sorry for the late reply, I won't count it against anyone if they are late checking in this week. Points and next week's challenge will be up tomorrow night.

Every team this week was hampered by people either not showing up at all or by people checking in at the beginning of the week but not updating fully on Friday. Team members who haven't yet posted at all in team threads have till Wednesday to show up or they will be eliminated for fairness. People who've posted their original stats but did not update on Friday will be watched and removed if necessary.

Overall this is encouraging though and seems to be successful. People are posting and talking and encouraging each other ^-^

Next Bonus challenge In honor of the world cup one member on each team must walk/run/jog/etc 6 miles, the length the average player covers in one match. This can be done over the week or all in one go, it can be done outside or inside, on treadmills/ellipticals or ground/floor. This is a harder challenge so discussing who wants to attempt it is important.

Dang now you're scaring me what future challenges are going to be, lol. At 342lbs it won't be me for my team, I'd be lucky to make it down the street if my house caught on fire, lol.
 
This will certainly be one of the more difficult challenges and normally I'd have picked a smaller distance but I wanted us to think of the athletes who do this on a regular basis and the effort they put in. I don't fancy trying this challenge myself but I'll give it a shot if I have to. ^-^

Rest assured guys future team and individual challenges will be for the most part fairly reasonable, in fact week 3's should be pretty hard to fail ^-^ I'm not crazy I swear.
 
I also thought that we were going to post on a Sunday so haven't posted yet. I'll go and do it now. I walked 10kms (which is over 6 miles) on 3 different days last week and do most weeks so am quite happy to take on the challenge for my team.
Just went and looked at original post again and it was start the week on a Sunday and finish on a Friday with saturday free.

Hey I think I'm not ready for these kinds of challenges yet so I'm pulling out. Once I'm able to do regular exercise though I'll try again because it was fun. Thanks for putting this together. Also we have another team mate MIA also since it started so you may need to reorganize. Thanks again.
 
Hey guys for the late update I have unexpected company over. Score updates and rearranged teams will be announced sometime tomorrow since we've had some people eliminated and some people are leaving us ( we'll miss ya).

Challenge for week 3:
Our minds needs breaks just as much as our bodies do to avoid burnout. set 10 minutes aside each day for meditation. Practice relaxing breathing methods and envision yourself as you want to be.
 
Question, would anyone be adverse to turning this into an individual challenge, I'd create a new group thread for us all to post and update our stats. Every team has lost members for various reasons ( I'm all that's left of A) and I think it may be easier to just combine all of us in one place? Also I promise to be more prompt in my updates ( Had net issues and unexpected company this weekend)
