Angela, I had a similar bump from my vacation, but it came back to where it was before in less then a week. The hard part is getting off that vacation mentality and back on the horse. What's your workout plan like this week?

I'M IN THE 170s ALREADY!
Bad news: Last night I ate like shit. I didn't care. I was back to school shopping for the kids and there were some pants on sale so I tried them on. They fit like shit. I had no motivation. I was thinking that this is about as low as I'll get because all this shit sucks. That was my attitude last night.
Good news: This morning I woke up early and went running before work. I did 5k in 26 min 18 sec. That comes to just under an 8.5 min mile average. The weather this morning was perfect for running, too. 65 deg crisp air. Sun just peaking over the trees. Mother and two baby dear prancing away from me. The best run yet. It got me thinking that I can do this, so I guess it was a short lived funk.
Yeah, my funks are not so bad, but they suck when I'm in it.
