Yay for home-grown veggies! You don´t really end up saving money (not here, at least), but the satisfaction is enormous - not to mention that produce fresh from the earth tastes so much better than the store-bought stuff.

And yes. It appears we'll be realfeel in the low 30s in the next two weeks so these guys will probably die but I'm gonna try to keep the roots warm. We shall see.

They look small enough you could bring them inside on cold nights, would that work?
The thought of bears just never entered my head
Bears are a lot more common in parts of the US than most people realize. When I lived in Florida we had bears in the yard all the time, probably at least every other night. But they were the smaller black bears, a bit of a nuisance, but not so dangerous as grizzlies.

Here's everything but the strawberries planted. I had no idea the little containers had four to six plants. I'm leaving at 5am. Ahould i water before I leave?

I started welbutrin and adevan two days ago. My sleep is amazing. I wake up clear headed with no dizziness. I know the wellbutrin takes a few weeks to kick in but I have hope. On the adevan my filter is nonexistent so I've got to be careful who I talk to. Only other things are floaters and tinnitus have returned which I can deal with. One theory is even though I'm more productive, my nervous system is actually more disregulated since the meds are blocking parts of my alert system in my brain OR my system is regulated and my body is catching up.

I fetched my bike from its tuneup. My brain is still confused by everything to do with the bicycle. The stabelizer wheels won't work well for my bike and add weight but the guy suggested I lower my seat so my feet are flat. I did. It helps. I'm rolling down a small incline and up another. Probably 50 yards. I turn around and come back and end up pushing the bike the last 10 yards.

The weather is finally kayak ready.

I was gonna go buy more plants tomorrow but looks like the state where the nursery is located is going on solid lockdown tomorrow. The planter came in today.

The past month has been a blur at work. Trying hard to catch up.

Do you live close to a place to kayak? I used to do a lot of canoeing, still have the canoe, but I have never tried a kayak. They look like fun.

I'm a block from the lake. The place to put in is very difficult to get to. Thinking of asking a neighbor if I can use their (very large) water front to put in. I have carts to get the boats to the water. A friend is coming over at 1 to help me figure everything out. She's yak'd before years ago and i have two boats so hopefully things will be okay and fun....while maintaining 6 feet distance.

Day 4 of new meds and doing well. My reactionary tendencies are in check and I'm able to get out of bed and start doing stuff. Hiuse looks awful but it has for a while and in past few days i completed several projects and started others. Good stuff

Doing well, G. I think you have been considering asking that neighbour if you can use their waterfront to put your kayak in since you got it. Can it be done well away from their house?

I did it ya'll! A friend and I got the kayaks to the treacherous hill, down it, and in the water. I SO LOVE being on the water. The trek back up the roacks and nearly vertical little hill was exhausting, not to mention pulling the yaks back to my house. They kept pulling off the wheels (i figured out why). When we got everything to the house we were going to go to the neighbor's house with the easier entry but they had left! Like packed up and left. Lorna pointed out that getting to the water was much longer and the put in much boggier than where my landlords have cleared on the treacherous hill. So my plan is to keep using that put in, very carefully. I'll build up the strength I need to navigate it all. The mean twins got angry we walked on a swath of their grass. I don't care. I won't do it again. With my hiking stick, i should be okay on the downhill.

Paddling was glorious. Sad i waited so long but so grateful we took the leap today.

And several things during the day have happened where i would normally fly off the rails. Totally nonplussed.....kind of like a normal person. A silly thing is i dropped a big container of cat treats. I gathered a bunch back in the container and letting the felines do the rest of the cleanup. They may have upset stomachs but no one is going to die.

Water is cool but not cold. My feet were fine in it but definitely too cool for swimming. I'll risk taking my camera next time....maybe Monday morning.

The cat thing is hilarious

Jasmine seems to have survived the binge! Yes take some pictures if you can, I also love the water, seeing your pictures would make your stories feel more real.

I found some marine rope and a heavy duty stake. The kayak is ready to pull down in the morning. I put the wheels uder the mid point so i could lace the straps through the handles to hopefully keep it on the trolley better. If i wake up ready to go, yay. Otherwise it's ready for tomorrow evening.
