Journey to Knowing

Hope your depression passes soon, maybe already? Being on a good track has to make you feel at least a little better.

Just saw the end of Hunter's last night. I did not like it, did not seem credible, and now if there is a season 2 the show seems to be headed the conspiracy theory route. Oh well, I did manage to watch it all, so it must not have been too bad.

Don't worry about the tmi thing, I am good at skipping over those parts.

Good to see you doing well, keep it up!

Depression is lifting slowly and finger nails are getting stronger and have stopped breaking. There's a weird correlation between the two. I think I've got a little while more for it to disappear again but at least I now know the secret. It's all choice from here.

I read all kinds of conspiracy novels as a teenager about the Fourth Reich. I guess the fascination came from growing up in Germany and having teachers who survived both as just children but also as camp survivors. The history they told has never quite squared with the history books.

I found GS cookies on the final day of selling. I'm going to use them for trail magic on the AT. So excited to start doing that this week after work.

Have seasonal allergies so not going into work until Friday when no one is there so no freak outs about sneezing and coughing. And i had one roll of toilet paper left. Took two stores to find just a four pack. Fun times.

Glad your depression is lifting. Do you think it is hormone-related?
Isn't it insane how people are preparing for the apocalypse? There have been punch ups in a supermarket in Aus. Madness and/or stupidity!

I did tmad today. I'm listening to my body and it needs more food than before my nyc trip. Good thing is I've felt like crap since before the trip and within a 3 hour span, I feel normal again.

Peri's pain is getting worse. I hate drugging her but it's the only way she eats, sleeps, and grooms.

I need to submit my self evaluation tomorrow. Hoping to be online by 7 so I can do trail magic in the late afternoon. I have girl scout cookies and bought a big thing for water tonight. Also drinks & junk food.

I mistakenly ordered 6 40lb bags of litter today. I usually buy 3 at a time. No idea where I'll store them. It looks like I'm hoarding kitty toilet paper lol.

Talking to a nice guy online. They're few and far between. And he's only 45 minutes away in the next town over to the east. Who knows.

So much stress every where. The panic is exhausting even when I'm not buying into it. I'm an information junkie and know we are mirroring Italy but on a bigger scale. San Francisco closed completely down and I expect the big city near me will soon. I don't have to go into the office for 30 days. So basically absolutely no human contact for a month or more. I doubt we'll be through this until mid-June. Determined to get my kayak in the water when it gets over 75°. I extended my window tonight because I wanted extra protein. I'm good with that. I've been consistent with 20-23 hours the past week.

I'm glad you're not buying into all that panic, G. I know I feel very stressed & anxious, but that's because we are booked to fly interstate on Friday

Hey CF, sounds like you are seeing this virus thing from a very level headed point of view. We need more folks like you!

This year I am refusing the Girl Scouts, makes me feel like a bit of the Grinch, but its probably for the best.

Kayaking sounds fun, hope you get to do some soon!

Finally planting a vege garden, small as it is. I'll plant a pollinator flower garden in mid april. The planter boxes are out of stock. I'm gonna go buy some worm castings and then get these in the dirt later tonight.

Planting a veggie garden will be so rewarding. Have you been composting? I would get a compost bin if you haven't got one yet. It's a great way to use your scraps & the worms love it.

I like your garden. Are you past the frost/freeze risk? We have a few lettuce coming up as volunteers, but won't be planting for real for a few weeks, still too cold.

I haven't had a garden since I was 8yo and then I was only responsible for radish. The nursery employees said I'd be fine. We shall see! Plants usually die around me.

No compost around here. There are bear issues and the property isn't big enough to put the pile/bin far enough away to be safe for us and for the bears. When I have my own property, that's top of the list.

Home Depot closed at 6 so no worm casting. I'll plant tomorrow night. Also discovered the strawberries need to be on the back porch. Next week I'm getting lavender to put in large pots and a few warmer weather herbs and veges. I'm excited.
