well, so far today, my eating has been under control. I havent gotten any strenous exercise in yet, but plan to do some floor stuff later on.
I have decided to follow Denise Austin's 21 day plan and see if i can get a good start on staying motivated and on track.

Breakfast:
3/4 c Special K
Strawberries
Skim milk
coffee

Green apple
protein bar

Thats it so far!
 
Sounds really yummy. Looking good. Just make sure you drink your water, thats probobly the most important thing. Hope the rest of your day is just as good.
 
So far, I drank only 32 oz of water and its 8:30pm here...Yikes! IT is more than I normally drink though so its a start.

my eating the rest of the day:
Turkey tips
rice
mashed cauliflower

1 handful of popcorn
2 nacho chips w/cheese

Bad on the snacking. My kids had them and I couldnt walk away from the plate of nachos. Well, at least I didnt eat the entire plate, right??

Very good eating, not to mention yummy sounding. It's hard getting enough water into us, you will see that it is a universal problem for most of us on this forum, me included. Good luck you are doing great!!

Sounds great Jaidor. I do have a suggestion for you on the water. Get yourself a jug or pitcher to measure at least 64 oz of water. If you have a certain thing you really like to drink, plan it in your day, but make a rule that you can't have it until you drink all your water. I drink a gallon of water a day and I allow myself 1 12 oz can of Coke Zero. I can't have the coke until I have drunk at least 3/4 of my water. I like the coke with dinner so it motivates me to get my water in before that. Your off to a great start, though. Keep it up and we are on our way!!
 
When you find it, promise yourself to empty it every day and fill it up before you go to bed at night so you've got nice cold water waiting for you in the morning!
 
Here is my food log for the day:

Breakfast:
3/4 c special K w/strawberries

Lunch:
shredded lettuce w/turkey
low fat montery jack cheese
natural sliced almonds
flax seed oil
vinegar

2 snackwell cookies

Dinner:
chicken kabob on brown rice
carrots
diet coke

water total: 32 oz

Not much in the fruit/veggie catagory today and not enough water!!

exercise-
I did floor exercises, then vacummed 2 floors and dusted
(thats a workout!)
 
R we going to have to insert a water hose? C'mon, you can do it. You don't like water? When you fill up that jug, throw a few slices of lemon in it. Once you get the water intake up, the pounds will go faster, I promise!!!!!!
 
Your food looks yummy, real yummy, I may need to come here for ideas if you dont mind...LOL. April is right you just need to get in more water and then you will be doing everything right..Keep it up.
 
J, we are going to start asking you about your water constantly. No, what we need to do is just keep telling you to go get your water! Believe me, it gets easier. When I started, I never drank water, ever!!!! Now I'm up to about a gallon a day. I just made myself stop drinking everything else except my coffee. But I don't get my coffee until I drink at least a full 20 oz of water.
 
Where you at, no sign of you yesterday so your probobly busy with the Kids. Hope you not being here means your off excercising and making some healthy choices. Hope you have a good day today.
 
I was gone most of the day yesterday. Between work, errands and meetings, I was MIA. Thanks for the encouragment on the water.
I had a horrible day for eating yesterday, but did drink more water than usual.
Today I'm back on track~
Do you all weigh yourself everyday and post any changes or do we wait until the 2wks are up? Just curious.

Off to drink!!!! (water that is!!)LOL
 
Works for me but we will wait and post on the last day. We just all need to remember to do that on that day so we dont hold anyone else up. Good job keeping up with the water thats great and looks like your getting in your excercise too...Fantastic. Keep it up and dont worry about one bad day..Thats nothing. Today is a brand new day.
 
Good Job on the walk...walking is so good for you. I know what you mean on the water. I pee constantley.
 
Maybe we could make a lake if we all get together. PMing an update Friday sounds good to me, but we definitely don't post it until the weigh in date. I'm sure they're spying just as much as I am. ;)
 
Today was a better day than yesterday for sure!

Green "wonder beans" with vinegar
Rice Cake

dinner: 3/4 c pasta

water total: 50 oz!! Yippeee!!!!!!
 
J, I want you to know that I am jumping up and down and clapping my hands for you. 50 oz of water?! Excellent. You are doing so much better on that. Keep it up. It gets easier. Keep trying to add more every day. My husband used to laugh at the horses every time they peed because they actually left puddles that would take a while to soak into the ground. He said we don't need to have a pond built, we just need to corrall the horses in that spot for a couple of days and presto! Lake.
