Oy.
Well, since I've been in a rut the past two days I decided to give myself a break and I went to my favorite Mexican place to eat. Now, I actually did pretty good because I usually have 1. Several glasses of Dr. Pepper, 2. A Bean Burrito, A Cheese Enchilada, Rice, and Vegetables, and 3. Two baskets of chips with bean and queso dip, but this time I had
1/2 Bean Burrito
A whole plate of vegetables (broccoli and cauliflower with queso)
About 15 chips with the bean and queso dip
2 glasses of water.
So I got my treat, but I tried to keep it to a minimum and I ate more broccoli and cauliflower than anything else on my plate. And it was actually about 6 large peices of broccoli and probably 4 peices of cauliflower and I had leftover, which I'll give to my roommate's boyfriend, along with the other half of my burrito. And now that I let myself relax a bit I feel more motivated again. I took a 40 minute walk right after dinner (and my ankle feels like it's about to burst) and I'm going to clean my car out which should make for some good stretching and sweating. I hope I didn't blow it. A girl I work with is giving herself an entire free day each week where she eats whatever she wants all day long, including soda and snacks, but I don't think that's a good idea. One meal or dessert a week is what I want to limit myself to, so that I don't get depressed and throw in the towel like I almost did yesterday, but that won't hinder my entire plan. Man, she came to work today with two chocolate doughnuts and then got a soda and she got McDonalds burger and fries for lunch and she was planning to go out to dinner with our boss. I think that's way too much leeway. I'm planning on going to the yoga class at school tomorrow. I know I'll feel better about my little Mexican fiesta if I go.
