That's exciting! A half-marathon sounds like a great challenge without being so much people are likely to injure themselves. I like that.

Food Intake:
1/2 apple
200ml of blackcurrant squash
135g of steamed veggies (carrots, peas, green beans)
50g of baby spinach and 2 cherry tomatoes
2 GF tortillas
90g of chicken breast
2 slices of DF cheese
1 tsp of GF/DF Mayo
5 GF/DF saltine crackers with butter and cream cheese
1 cup of 2in1 nescafe
1 slice of GF/DF lemon cake
1 vegan ice cream cone
1 bowl of DF yogur

Exercise:
5km on treadmill
12km on stationary bike
200 abs variation
30 triceps dips
100 squats

Notes: tomorrow marks 2weeks back on the forum...feeling good about my exercise consistency, my food, and knowing that if I continue like this I will achieve my goals sooner rather than later. That being said I’m prepared (mentally at least) for the first trial since my return...traveling to Belgium on Saturday and dreaming of fried mussels and chocolate waffles. Will try to eat reasonably but also want to allow myself to splurge a little, hopefully compensate with tons of walking and sightseeing.

2 slices of DF cheese
90g of Turkey chunks
2 tsp of DF/GF mayo
90g of watermelon fingers
100g of Soya vanilla yogurt
2 GF potato waffles
2 slices of GF/DF lemon cake
1 cup of 2in1 Nescafé
1/2 tbsp of DF butter and salt to taste

Exercise:
15km on stationary bike
6km on treadmill
100 squats

Notes: 2 weeks in, - 2.3kg/5lbs!! Happy with that...tomorrow I’m off to Brussels and I want to try my very best to come here and report on food and activity so that I know to hold myself accountable and not splurge TOO much! Let’s see how it goes, happy weekend everyone!

Handful of baby spinach and 3 cherry tomatoes
2 potato waffles
2 eggs
1 teaspoon DF butter
2 tablespoons of cassava flour

Exercise:
9.5km on treadmill
100 squats
60 calf-raises

Notes: well, back from Brussels...can’t say I was cautious with food, but also can’t say I over eaten. Happy that the damage wasn’t so bad, the goal for this week (which already has some plans that may derail diet with other events lined up, including tomorrow) is to see me back at 61s. On another note, sweetless Tuesday today went well...I had a banana, but that’s ok because I did want some extra vitamin (potassium) in...no refined sugar it’s all that matters. Hopefully I see some positive results till Friday, when I complete 3 weeks since I started my diary again.

yes, not sure how the airports will cope with the change...I made it back before the exit so no changes yet. I have an EU passport and already have settlement status here in the UK, so I suppose there won’t be many changes for myself...we shall see how it goes ‍♀️
 
Ok, I'm curious: what's DF (dairy-free?) Buffalo mozzarella made of???

my mistake LaMa, just went to check and it’s lactose free. I’m only lactose intolerant, not dairy...most products I acquire are lactose free...force of habit writing DF, sorry!

1teaspoon of GF/DF mayonnaise
1 slice of GF/DF lemon cake
GF/LF chocolate squares
5 cherries
1 cup of 2in1 Nescafé
1/2 cup of low fat hot cocoa
250ml of lemonade
1 tuna and cucumber sandwich
1 pack of lentil crisps

Exercise:
5km on treadmill
100 squats
50 calf raises
50 crunches

Notes: this is a report on yesterday...again, eating out on movies doesn’t make easier, you go with the healthiest option (tuna sandwich) but even the healthiest option is not so good to my intolerances. Also, after a few sneezes yesterday it just seems I came down with a cold. Body aches, nausea, congested...will hydrate and try to take it easy today, hopefully feel better in the afternoon!
 
I hope you feel better. Food looks good though; a sandwich may not be perfect but it's fine and if perfect were required none of us would stand a chance.

Notes: not feeling my best, nauseous and congested...managed to get by through day, hopefully I feel better tomorrow!

I liked this! I read it at first as "strewn with Goji berries", and thought it sounded so pleasingly Hansel-and-Gretel (like, the fruit strewn along the forest path).
