I'm still confused, please help!
I want to loose 2 pounds/week, but I'm still unsure how many calories I should eat.
Here's my info:

I'm 33, 5'4", female, 127.6 lbs, BMR is about 1200 calories a day, I burn 500 calories a day exercising everyday. I want to burn 1000 calories exercising daily to create the 7000 calorie deficit per week necessary to loose 2 pounds a week.
How many calories should I be eating, so I can loose 2 pounds a week?

Too little to be healthy I'm sure. You might want to try more around 1 pound a week, at the point you're at, you're going to be losing slower but that's ok! I'm sure you're pretty close to your goal, and losing 1 pound a week adds up and makes a difference fast at the weight you're at :)

I thought I was here for support not for judging. A number based on an average is just that. Just a number. I'm trying to go back to my weight from 2 years ago, the weight I've been my whole life. Should I stay almost 30 lbs overweight because of a number. No, I don't think so, so unless someone will try to help me with an answer please don't post your opinions on what your thoughts are on how I would look and feel my best.

All I want to know, is how many more calories should I be eating, so I can burn 1000 calories a day exercising and see if I can create the 7000 CALORIE DEFICIT A WEEK NECESSARY TO LOOSE 2LBS. A WEEK?

Thank you!

according to the link matthigh posted you need to consume approximatly 1900 calories to become disgustingly thin. good luck!

Hey! If she has been 100lbs and felt healthy and happy good for her. Seems a little thin to me but everyone is different.

When you hit 100 send me pics. I will see if you are disgusting or not :reddevil:

First of all, thanks Matthigh31 for the link. Second, you're not judging me, but other people are. We are all on the same boat here, regardless of what our end goal is. I thought people joined forums like this to support each other, not to bash or even insult someone.

What can I say? Haters just make me stronger!

And Dear Shep03, I promise you to make it a point to post a picture of myself in a bikini when I reach my "disgustingly thin" goal weight.

P.S. I wonder why the bashing never comes from guys who have great bodies and are in great shape?

Well in defense you do see a lot of women especially young one who set goals that are not only unrealistic but unhealthy. I will assum given your age and the fact that you have been that size before that you know what you are doing. It would be unrealistic for most women to shoot for 100lbs but believe it or not that is a healthy weight for SOME girls.

Arianny Celeste- 5'5 105lbs. (Google her)
Looks slightly thin to a curves man like myself but by no means "unhealthy" or disgusting"

I, initially, was not attacking, I was just stating the fact. I know a lot of people who set the unrealistic and unhealthy goal of 100 lbs and look too thin, which is not attractive. Plus, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

I'm not bashing. I just think being healthy is more important than being underweight, which I'm sure guys with great bodies and are in shape would agree.

P.S. Since another woman posted her opinion, she's instantly jealous. Please.

Why are people so gung ho on a number! I've been that weight my whole fricking life.

If I was anorexic, would I really be asking how many MORE calories I should be eating if I want to exercise more and not get my body into starvation mode? Am I unhealthy because I want to improve my body shape as I go back to the weight I've been my whole life?

I agree with Edco that sometimes people set unrealistic goals for themselves (specially young girls) and I understand that other people might feel a bit cautious or even hesitant in helping or supporting someone who might not be doing the right thing. But that's not my case.

Calling someone you've never seen "disguntingly thin", sounds like bashing to me. By the way, you mentioned jelousy, not me... it never crossed my mind...

is this at 104 pds?? if so you look healthy.. and damn good

a healthy weight loss goal is 1 percent of your body weight a week - 2lbs is a random number that's thrown out.. you want to set a goal that's realistic for your current situation... and understand that there are some weeks that you might not lose anything and other weeks the scale might go up.. it's the big picture that you should be focusing on..

I was about to ask you the same thing.

You might not need to be 100 lbs to be happy with your body, you may very well be happy before then. You may be happy with your looks losing only a pound.

Just take it day by day.

Also the only reason people are not agreeing with you here is because they are concerned about your health, not because they think you're a crazy anorexic lady.
