hey kc... it's halloween ! that's why i have candy, not b/c i bought it, but b/c everywhere i go these days people have candy, and i end up taking some. you are right as usual tho and normally my house is filled with healthy food and not junk. the only junk i keep around is a bag of chocolates, usually hershey kisses, because when i have a craving for chocolate nothing else will do, and if i try to satisfy it with something else, i just end up eating too much random stuff. a couple hershey kisses will take care of it tho. and i'm definitely not trying to starve myself, i went thru that phase as a teenager and it's not a fun thing to do . the best way for me to lose weight is to eat between 1200-1700 cals and exercise several times a week. that's pretty good, right? mmm... fat free ice cream *drools*... i have such a weakness for frozen desserts, esp nonfat frozen yogurt. it would be ok to eat if it didn't have so much sugar. i get it a couple times a week, but i'm trying to cut back .
ok... so i have a confession to make. i had done really well today, i was at about 1400 cals, but then ... well, you see, my church is having a bake sale tomorrow to raise funds, so i decided to bake some cookies tonight to give to the bake sale. so i baked chocolate-chocolate-chip cookies with m&ms on top. i made them biiig cookies, except for one tiny one for me to eat tonight. well, the first couple batches came out fine, and i ate my tiny cookie and enjoyed it very much. then just for fun i tried making the last batch in the toaster oven on the "bake" setting. i didn't watch it closely enough and they burned. i can't sell burned cookies, so i was just going to throw them away, but for some reason i ended up picking at them and eating almost a whole big cookie !! this was at like 1030 pm. usually when i bake i make healthy stuff, using apple sauce instead of butter etc. but this time i used real butter, eggs, sugar, etc. i am not used to eating that sort of stuff and i feel sooo sick to my stomach now. well, at least i learned my lesson. our bodies are so amazing - we can learn so much from them if we just listen! ok, i better try to get some sleep, and tomorrow i *will* workout again, and eat less! i can't wait for the new comp to start on nov 1! take care everyone, and thanks for stopping by *hugs*. bye for now !
