I hate Tuesdays.

Food:
11:00 - three bites of cottage cheese and two crackers
11:30 - grilled chicken wrap, tortilla chips
Sometime in the middle of the day - A few bites of ice cream cake and apple pie
8:00 - Grilled chicken with rice and broccoli, skim milk, two cherry lifesavers.

Cardio: No cardio. It's storming like mad outside and I effing hate Tuesdays.
 
Yeah, class from 9:30 - 7, with three ensembles. It's just a hella long day. Plus nothing was going right yesterday.

I've been bad today...I ate captain crunch. More on that later.
 
Ok

Food:
10:30 - Whey shake and a little bit of Honey Bunches of Oats. (I gave in and got whey powder, protein was just too much in the morning with time constraints and lack of want)
1:30 - Peanut Butter Captain Crunch :(, then I had a string cheese because that was all carbs
3:30 - Grilled chicken with rice and broccoli
8:00 - Some frozen mangoes (probably about 1/2 cup) and whey shake...tired...no makey food...

Workout:
Squats 3x12@30 (killer today)
Deadlifts 3x12@30
Bent over rows 3x12@15
Bench presses 3x12@30 (also a little killer)
Situps 3x12
Side bends 3X12@20

Cardio: Ran to the student center and back to fetch my mail. Still no W-2... Anyway, I estimate it to be about 1/4 mile away. Just an estimation.

By the way I suck at running.

Also, it's balls windy out there.

I was so going to ask if it was peanut Butter, or the regular! My vote is the PB!

As much as you think you sucked food wise, I know your fast food issues, and this is a good improvment! And way to go non the work out! Seems at this pace you'll keep it up! Good Job Kitty!
 
Thanks Shells! That really means a lot, which is hard to express on an internet forum but it's true. We're old pals and you know me pretty well, so your posts make my heart smile:)
 
It may be harder to tell us all the truth - but it's so for your own good, thats why it shows where your heads at being so honest with us, and yourself! Keep it up, and look back at your post to help!
 
I went to the student center cafeteria for lunch today, and they had so many delicious deep fried things. Corn dogs, french fries, donuts...

But I was good!

Seriously, though, and please don't take this the wrong way, but it could just be your behavior. I'd so hit on you if I saw you somewhere, but maybe in person you are less fun and more huge tool, who knows. As I like to say to everyone who brings this stuff up, the common denominator in all of your unsuccessful relationships (or flirt baiting) is you. But I'm pretty no make that dead, certain it's not the physical you.

Give us more detail so we can give you terrible, unqualified advice. :D

Ok so today I had NO energy. I had to FORCE myself to get up and go to the gym. I almost talked myself out of it, but in the end I made it and I'm glad.

Someone had "Don't let your short-term failures get in the way of your long-term goals" in their profile and I thought about that.

I also had to think - What do I want? To be hawt. What is the only way to get it? Drag my chunky ass to the gym.

If I want it so bad I can do what it takes.

Food:
9:30 - whey shake
11:30 - Turkey sandwich with lettuce/tomato, grapes, brussel sprouts, and a few pickle and cucumber chips. Oh and skim milk.
2:30 - Chef salad and a banana
8:30 - Tuna sandwich and a string cheese.

Cardio: 22.5 minutes on the elliptical. 15 on cross country and 7.5 on intervals. My chest started to hurt so I called it quits.

So I was looking around at everyone doing weights so I could hopefully have the confidence to use the weightroom when I grow out of my lil' dumbells:) Anyway I was watching this guy do bent over rows, and I was like, oh! I do those! I'll watch to make sure I'm doing it right! So he caught me staring at him, and I guess he thought I was checking him out because he gave me like this weird smirk.

Oh well. At least I know I'm doing proper bent over rows. At least according to that guy. He was pretty ripped.

Oh yeah, and I saw this guy using that pull down machine, and it was pulling him up off his seat! He was practically jumping down to his seat to get it down and then it would just yank him right up again. I wanted to be like, I'm no expert, but I don't think that's doing you any good buddy.

Good job on dragging your ass to the gym-it was a good choice.
As for your little problem when you're out with your friends...that's how it used to be with me too. It's all a matter of waiting for the right person. I did, and I'm happy. Don't pay attention to how stupid pricks look at you, and seriously next time you're out with your friends and they come to you to ask for THEIR number, just tell them to strap on a pair and ask themselves.

Strength training is fun. If you want, I can give you the routine I'm doing. You can still use dumbells for it, but it is challenging. It's designed so that it's cardio, and strength training all at the same time. It rocks, and it changes daily so its fun.
It's a 12 week program, so it gets more difficult every two weeks, and it keep challenging your body.

It'd be cool to have someone to do it with too.
 
Thanks Christi! Yeah, I knew I'd feel better if I went than if I didn't in the long run. As for the other thing, I actually do have a boyfriend and am not seeking out someone, I just get kind of offended when we go out and I'm the ugly friend. That post was written in the heat of the moment, I ended up deleting it anyway. But thanks a lot for the positive vibes:)

And for the record, when they ask about my friends I DO tell them to go get it themselves:D

Thanks for the offer to share your workout, but right now I'm doing a strength workout that Sara made for me, and it seems to be working so far. Not that I thought it wouldn't ;). Just kidding, Sara is a trainer-beast.

I just entered my food into fitday, just to get an idea. Too much fat maybe, but not as bad as the old days. Plus this thing is probably way off, I had to guess on a lot of things, including the contents of my salad. I don't think I'll really take this to heart, I think a lot of it is off.

Up before dark..NOT COOL! Especially on a day when I usually get to get up whenever I want.

I have to retake a math test. I went on the first day of class, didn't go for two weeks, came back once, didn't go the next time and now I'm off to take the test!

I read the book, looks pretty easy.

Although now if I don't ace it I'm gonna look like an ass.

But I'm coming right back and going to sleep.
