Geovicsha's Diary - New Years Resolution.

You lost more than anyone else in the challenge over that 8 week period.

We can all have high expectations from the scales - because we know what hard work we put in. I also think that you are a little disappointed because of that week with the very high weight loss when the scales played a major trick on you.

Yeah, that sort've screwed me over.

I'm real happy with my achievement, as you should be too with your team the victor. :D

A lot of teams won a week - the only difference was that Omega-3 managed it in the last week.

We were pretty pleased to win though. All three of us (Kimberly, Dawn and myself) are deep into long term projects so none of our weightloss is what it once was. We were lucky and survived and then had a good week when some of the other teams had a less good week.

I got a new application on my phone that operates as a pedometer, and in fact I posted a topic about it just moments before. I thought you would be very interested in it Margaret, because I sure as hell am.

Tested it right now, seems to be fairly accurate. I'm loving the calendar options. It looks awesome!

Oh and I'm pleased to announce today, if my height were 174cm (and not counting the inaccurate scales) I'm under 25 BMI for the first time. :)

Congratulations Shannon!

You are now officially "normal"!

The pedometer on the phone sounds interesting. I will read up on it.

Well done on the BMI :):) You must be sooooo pleased!

Looked into the Nokia pedometer application and it looks pretty good :D Will def give that a try! Now my phone is also my camera, my camcorder, my mp3 player, my internet and my pedometer :D Occasionally it even lets me make a call! lol!

i wish that i could get that pedometer on my phone its a nokia but its a 7373 one and it wasnt listed oh well back to the old fashioned on for me!

After a week or so, it's great to see the graphs and comparisons. I'd almost recommend buying a new phone just for the application kotki, ALMOST. Haha.

76.2kg after a few nights, some were drunken, in Melbourne. Hehe.

We all deserve a few days off - and I suspect that you had a great time in Melbourne.

Drinking plenty water and monitoring your sodium for a couple of days will sort out the sodium aspects of Chinese food. The main thing is to be back on track now.

all that matters is that you had a great time in melbourne, my 3rd cousin and his family live in melbourne!

i wish i had the money for a new phone, i brought my new one last year and at xmas i droped it on the floor of my mums kitchen and now its cracked all down the screen Lol!

after a few days of monitoring your cals ect iam sure your start losing again! as omega said the main thing is to be back on track now!

I admit my exercise hasn't been upto scratch with all the essays and exams coming up these past couple of weeks, but when I do go on a jog. Damn! I don't want to sound up myself, but I can jog a fair good distance now. It appears when I have my iPod playing I can go on forever, as I can't hear myself breathe and puff which puts me off.

At a new low of 74.3kg, it angers me I still have man boobs as much as ever. I need to buy some more of that bio-oil/skin oil I did a couple of months ago that Margaret also uses.

Furthermore, I need a new lunch routine, something that suits winter. The tomato, lettuce and wholegrain sandwiches just aren't cutting it for me in the cold days, if anyone can suggest a more easy, hot and healthy lunch I would greatly appreciate it.

My phone as a pedometer works a treat, I jog upto about 300 steps and count in my head and the pedometer is always accurate. Happy days are here at last! :)

well done on getting to the new low!

sorry to hear that your moobs are annoying you have you tried exercises for that area i know one that works is if you put your hands together in front of you and try to push them together and you will find it works your pec area.

you could try a baked potato that you heat up in the oven with a topping like ham and low fat cheese or egg it tends to work for me.

Try doing some chest moves with your dumbells. This can help with the man boobs. Are you sure they aren't pecs?

Try having soup with wholewheat bread, yum, warm, and you can find many nutritious low cal recipes on the net!

kotki: Thanks. What do you mean exactly, try and push the boobs together? Thanks for the advice, I'll try on it. That sounds nice, but I've sort've stayed clear of potatos since this diet. I dunno why, I just haven't felt like them. Haha. :)

Amy: Hmmm yeah I think I might go on Google and see if there's many dummbells for man boobs exercises. I'm sure they aren't pecs. It is fat in the chest area resulting in man boobs, however I have noticed some extra skin there.

Ankebuzz: Yum indeed, thanks for the tip. :)

all i can say is put your arms out like your going to hug someone and push your hands together repeatedly and the muscles should tence and release.

i looked on the internet for other exercises for you and i ve found a website all about chest exercises hopefully you will find something on there :)

Hey all, long time no talk! I posted a new topic with new pictures, so if you guys check it out and comment that would be awesome.

Finished my last due essay today, and now I just have two exams: one on the 16th and one on the 18th and then about 5 weeks of holidays, which I can't wait. Both for the relaxation and also for fill force holidays.

Nearly in the 72kg's. :)

Cheers,
Shannon
