Geovicsha's Diary - New Years Resolution.

Well, looks like I'm in the challenge. Thanks for the help guys, looks like some cabbage for me this week, and also gives me motivation to exercise. :)

Hi Shannon!
Good for you you're in the challenge! It's always great motivator.
How was your week? Did you reach our common goal of 81 kg? I incredibly went below that...I hope you'll have a successful weigh in as well!

Yesterday was good for a break, university wise and I wanted to make the most of the spare time. I got some homework done, and went shopping for my friend, Amanda's, 20th.

Everyone stayed at my place last night as people travelled a couple of hours to celebrate Amanda's.

Originally I wasn't planning to drink but I decided I'd have a 6 pack, with no regrets. The only regret is I drank one glass of diet soda and bourbon. Ewwww. :( Ah well. Another regret is I brought my pedometer with me to the pub and I dropped it, fortunately someone picked it up for me.

I am so hung over today which is disappointing and thus I hardly have the energy to do anything. I also had to get up early as I travelled back to my hometown of Swan Hill. It's good to be home.

My legs are feeling much better today, and now with the challenge, I plan to go back to my jogs.

Continued with the bio-oil and face exercises.

Hi India, I'm sorry I got confused I meant 82kg not 81kg and I did reach that, although it's slightly up currently. But still. Yayness and congratulations. :D

Hey Shannon, welcome to the team!! It sounds like you have done well with your goals so far. I'm with Kimmie, I used to work in a gym for years and every single person there is trying to work on their self-proclaimed imperfections. I think you'll find people there who are quite knowledgeable and can help you. I started at a public gym at the age of 18 and ended up becoming a trainer there two years later. The owner took me under his wing and personally trained me and I reached my goals. That was many years ago and now is a different story. Every person starts somewhere, nobody is born with a perfect physique.

Get ready to kick some ass in this challenge. You will find that Kim and I are a couple of hard-core exercising fiends. We are in it to win it.

Take care,

Amy

That's my Amy. :D Every word she said is true. :)

Now, get your hungover arse to the gym..haha I'm just kidding. Sleep it off, son, sleep it off. :smilielol5:

So, who is this Amanda? And is she girlfriend potential? :toetap05:

Amy: Hello teammate, haha. :D Thanks for the words about the gym, I'm going to check out a gym this week, it's my promise to all of you. Until lately I've been very good with my exercise, going on daily jogs that last for about 70mins so I can easily get in the 5 hours. My legs are ACHING since the concert still, but they are slowly healing. I must have pulled a muscle or something. Whooo a trainer in our team, MILF more like TILF. :D

Kim: I slept the hungover off and feel fine and dandy like sour candy. Very energetic. :) Amanda is a good friend of mine, I doubt she's girlfriend material since she has had a 2 year relationship until last week so she's a bit down. Although I did drunkingly kiss her on Thursday night, something I somewhat regret and which is a different story for a different time.

Also, I assume some of you are casual drinkers? Have you found since your weight loss you've become a lightweight and get drunk so much easier? I used to be able to drink a slab of beer and now I have the same affect from a 6 pack. Which is good because it's cheaper. :D

The day after the big drinking session, and what a hangover I had. Add to that I had to travel from Bendigo to Swan Hill in a car for 2 hours, not that far but made me sick with the bumpy roads. :(

Home (Swan Hill) basically has nothing (bananas) etc so I need to go shopping soon.

New low of 81.8kg today. :)

haha six pack? it takes me like 2 beers and i'm gone....I think I stopped drinking after college ended b/c I had gained about 20 lbs from drinking alone. It prob has to do w/ the fact that I lost some weight, but moreso b/c I barely drink now :) It's been a while since I've had a six pack!

A slab of beer?? That's a case for you Yanks. A slab is a helluva lot of beer in one night. I don't think I'd be hungover off a 6-pack, though. I used to drink like a fish while I was in Korea (when in Rome, do as the Romans do), but I haven't been much of a drinker since then. The last time I had a drink was two weeks ago, and I had 4 pots of beer and it made me reasonably buzzed. :sifone:

You weren't drinking VB by any chance, were you? :D

Nope, I hate VB and went a much classier Carlton Draught.

I don't think it was just the six pack, I also had two jagerbomb's and a smirnoff black at the pub which I forgot to mention. And the scotch and diet coke which I said previously. That might be partially why!

I don't think I'll be drinking anytime soon. :D

Gee, that might have been what caused the hangover... How conveniently you forgot to mention that. :D

My H LOVES VB. I guess he's not as classy as you are. :D One of his best buddies is a Carlton Draught fan.

Congrats on hitting the 170s!
