Friends?

And the fact that I lobotomized him last night ...

I still have my second brain. You can't take that away.

Sorry you're having a hard time, Flynn. Hope all turns out well. Have you had a chance to talk to your friends yet?

Sometimes your age is a strange one when it comes to friends. Some people grow up at your age and some stay immature forever. At right about your age (about 10years ago) I didn't have the same drama problems, but I decided I didn't want to spend the rest of my life getting drunk and high so I ended up drifting away from all my friends. Be selective with friends, only trust the trustworhty

This can go for friends, girlfriends etc. I don't know who's in the right. Deep down you probably know the answer.

Here's a friend that will never let you down, my best friend....

Anyone here have a time when "friends" pulled some **** and make you think there are no trustworthy people? I thought friends were supposed to be on my side? I feel like I can't trust anyone anymore...people suck. Always judging, rather than living their own lives. Stay outta my ****ing business! End short rant.

Hope this will cheer you up Find a good neighbour.

Thanks buddy. I am actually going to meet my friends tonight. They are real hush hush, so it is all going to come out tonight.

I know this is a big changing time right now. I want to trust the trustworthy, but at this point, I don't even know who is trustworthy in my life anymore. I know we are friends, but why do they need to judge me or my GF or anything, let alone slam her about it so much that she's in tears. I'm gonna have a big chip on my shoulder, I'm just curious as to what they have to say.

we're curious too! good luck with it. hope it all works out somehow.

Hang in there, man...the truth will come to you.

IMO, the best approach to take is to step back from the situation for a few minutes and look at it, if possible, with a completely unbiased mind set. You are emotionally tied to both, the friends and the gf...it's hard to try and give both of them a chance...just step back and be the judge. Get the stories from your friends then talk to the gf and then you make the call.

I can forgive just about anyone for anything, I think.

^ I have been like that for a good portion of my youth (or younger youth :p), it has gotten me hurt many times, I no longer forgive easily. I don't like to waste my life on people who hurt you without any care. Forgiving easily will cause others to give you more useless drama and crap. When someone or something doesn't please you or makes you feel like ****, make a stand and discard it from your life. You have better things to do with your one and only chance of living life like YOU want to live it, you don't need anyone or anything giving you a ****ty time at it.

Lifes too short to have others make it suck.

In any case, you are a good person and I really hope you get in on WTF is going on with your friends and gf.

Good luck bro!

Thanks a lot man, your words mean a lot to me, and I am starting to understand what you are saying. Forgiveness is just what my brain tells me to do, even though my heart hurts from what they have caused. It's just in my nature to want to make things okay. But I am realizing it might not be the best path.

I appreciate your support very much.

Bang on.

There was a survey done that asked people who they'd rather be stranded on a deserted island with: their partner or their pet. Over 2/3 chose their pet.

What does that tell you about the honor, integrity and loyalty of humans when compared to a dog (I'm not much for cats, sorry!)?

That depends...

If its a male partner, I'll choose my dog.

If its a female partner...then....:love2:

We did talk. They are good friends, I shouldn't have really questioned that. Nobody was really right and nobody was really wrong. I mean I'm not happy about how they handled it, and they were apologetic for that. They knew it wasn't right. But they just see 2 unhappy people, and by the nature of friends, they side with me, and over time developed some latent hate for her. I told them a lot of the failure in our relationship is my fault, which it is, but she of course has her faults too. Either way, other issues are up, but things are fine between me and them.

Life still sucks, problems with my woman ensue.
