For those who have a problem with "drugs"...

I don't give a **** what other people do as long as they don't put others in danger. I haven't done any recreational drugs in about 10 years and plan to keep it that way. I don't even like taking prescribed medication and avoid doing so unless I absolutely have to.

Focus I think you're on mushrooms the whole time you're logged into this forum.

I guess when you actually work for a living you can be a bit more judgemental of people.

I do eat a lot of mushrooms, though. The nonhallucinogenic kind, so far as I know. But uh, I've been wrong before. Once.

Yea focus, i bet if you had totally different friends/upbringing who used drugs, garunteed you would have also tried them. You can argue you wouldnt have all you want, but i KNOW different :D

I am retarded, that IS true. But also so are you. Love you.

This is similar to how I behave, because I think it's a mostly rational bias. With the obvious and glaring exception of mild stimulants, which I think are very lovely.

Except I never really got into recreational "drugs" at all. I tried most of them once (with the exception of the kind that never leave your system... too disturbed by the prospect, and at one point was considering getting a job flying things), and concluded that there's no good reason to take drugs that have a detrimental effect on my concentration. Particularly dislike cannabis for this very reason.

Unfortunate timing. See below.

Ftr, many of my favorite people growing up (and currently, come to think - though I do not spend much time around them these days as I subscribe to the "you are who you're friends with" paradigm) used all sorts of drugs, and I was around them quite a lot. I just didn't ever partake, except very occasionally just to be polite, and mostly not at all via sleight-of-hand (it's not hard to be a good magician around people who are drunk and high haha).

You live in a fantasy world focus. One I cannot understand and one I don't want to understand. Hand outs are great but they won't earn you any respect. Now go get back to work on that degree your dad is buying you.

1. Focus is on mushrooms. Mushrooms are drugs.
2. Kraken has conversations with plants when he is on mushrooms. Mushrooms are drugs.
3. BigTom likes blow. Blow is a drug.
4. BigTom takes drugs, but also likes making out with sheep.

Ergo, some people on drugs also like making out with sheep.

All those in favor, raise their hands :)

If you promise to read it, I will give you a copy of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and you might find yourself less thinking I'm a tool and more thinking I'm the nicest person alive.

Then once you've got the basic idea, I will show you why Kiyosaki and Letchter are amateurish and how to do it right.

No I'm pretty convinced you are THE quintessential tool.

Because I believe it's silly to trade your time for money when there are better ways of acquiring it (money), or because I say what I think in the hopes of learning and/or sharing knowledge?

turning tricks is actually considered work.

Yeah, and unlike the other kind of crack, it can be washed and sold again.

Seriously, though. What are you upset about? I really will send you a copy of the book, and if you weren't being all emotional, you'd read it, thank me, and given average reading comprehension and moderate motivation to implement, retire in 5 years.

Also, ftr, my dad is a hyooogeee deadbeat. ;)

Sure thing, bb. But, just so we're clear, "take you out for lunch" is innuendo, right?

Perception is reality ;)

Not innuendo ... just lunch, bb.

I just took a look at the reviews on that book, and it sounds like that whole rich dad stuff sucks major ass.

High pressure sales tactics ... homey don't play that game ...

Yeah, amateur'ish. And that's being nice. But it does get you on the right track. As long as you're not the sort of person who believes anything a self-help "guru" has to say.

The only important/useful thing to take from it is the hierarchy of income generation, in which trading your time for money is at the bottom. Other than that it is pleasant fiction.

Premise 1: BigTom and Kraken like drugs.
Premise 2: Kraken and BigTom are retarded.
Premise 3: Retards on drugs sometimes talk to plants.
Premise 4: All talking plants are evil.
Premise 5: Associating with evil is evil.

Conclusion: Drugs are evil.

^ Logic is undeniable. I guess I lose this round. :(
