Thanks guys! Weighed in this morning and found I was a pound down! I was really surprised, because I found this past week to be a real challenge. I was also feeling kinda sluggish there for a bit about getting back on track, but this just really motivates me even more to be good about eating, and getting that walk in everyday! I really needed that little boost. :)

Got to run the kids to school. I will be back later in the day to update, and hit everyones journals ! :)

Man, I wish i could lose ten by june 1st too!!!!!

Ugh....I got sick again! I cant believe it, because I never get sick, and now I have been sick twice in the last two weeks. This time its a stomach thing, which has been no fun. I feel a bit better today, but discouraged that my excercising has been practically nonexistant these past two weeks.

I don't understand why I have been getting sick. I guess it could just be bad luck I suppose. Hopefully this is it.

Good news is, I finally got the skunk smell out of my car! Thank you Febreeze!

I am so behind on reading journals........I will try to catch up later today. I am also behind on everything here....so I am going to go try and get some stuff done around the house.

of all the things i hate about being sick, my stomach hurting is the WORST! I feel for ya! hope you get to doin better real soon!
 
Hi Fluff! Thanks for the warm welcome... sorry to hear that you're sick =(. Being sick definitely puts a damper on my exercise plans, but I'm sure you'll be up an at it again soon!

Thanks everyone. I am feeling better, just not quite back to normal just yet though. Its so frustrating. I am not used to being sick, and am very impatient about getting better. Hopefully one or two more days, and I should be back to normal and back on track with my weight loss program.

I must admit that I really miss working out. I haven't been working out practically at all these past two weeks, and it just feels weird. Hopefully I will be able to just pick up where I left off here a couple weeks ago. I read somewhere that people who decide to lose weight as a New Years resolution tend to fall off the wagon in March. I just dont want to end up as one of those statistics.

I am going to be a good girl today and rest. Maybe sit outside some this afternoon and enjoy this beautiful weather we are having! I think some warm sun will do me good.

Hi there, I hope you are fully recovered now. I know its horriable being sick, They say its common to get sick again close to the first time because your body is still recovering from the first and hasnt built up its amunity to full strength yet, so dont worry hopefully now you will have a sick free time. You are doing really well and I know you wont become a march statistic. You have heaps of strength and determintation and all of us here to cheer you on. Keep it up your doing great.

Lol Cabana! I so needed your post! I have been feeling so sluggish this past month. Part of it was from being sick. But honestly, part of it was just mental. I dont know what it is about March, but I have just had a hard time staying motivated. Blah.

But, you're right. We are too close to summer now to give up!!!! My hopes for this summer are to wear shorts without shame and tanks tops without feeling all floppy. Only 9 more weeks until school is out down here. Then there will be daily demands to go to the pool or the playground or wherever. I so wanna look good this summer!! (It has been sooooo long since I have)

Ok ...Cabana and everyone ....I am relying on you guys to keep me motivated!!!! We can do it!

Started off today pretty well. Walked on my treadmill for an hour (and yes, it was hard! after so many days off of it). I have had 51 oz. of water so far today!! Now, here is the tricky part........dinner. Already made dinner for tonight (how productive of me huh?) and its a pasta dish. A really really fattening pasta dish, but its ok for everyone else in the family to eat. Just not me. So...my real test today will be to keep my dinner light. Maybe a bite of pasta, and then a nice huge salad. :) I already have the makings for a good salad with my favorite low cal dressing.

Its so hard sometimes to cook for a family, and not be able to eat what they eat. But......I am determined. I would much rather feel happy in my shorts and tank tops this summer than feel stuffed from eating.

Hope everyone is having a great start to their week! Had to have my tire fixed this morning after running over a nail.....grrrrr.... I have had enough with the car problems (first, the air conditioner goes out and is still out. then there was the whole skunk fiasco. and now a flat tire --- do bad things come in three's as well? cause if so...i should be done!)

Thanks for the post in my diary! I read back through some of your entries, and you're right. We do have similar starting statistics, which makes it so encouraging for me to see that you started such a short time ago and have already lost an incredible amount of weight! I look forward to reading more about your journey. I love having so many amazing people to look to for support and motivation! Keep up the good work!
 
see? I think you are getting the same thing Im getting...eat those things that are tasty, just a bite or two of it, and fill up on the good for ya stuff! It sure keeps me on track.

brace for this rainy crappy weather coming in this week, its supposed to last till thursday:(

yeah, they do come in 3s...so you oughta be good for a while:D
