Lol Cabana! I so needed your post! I have been feeling so sluggish this past month. Part of it was from being sick. But honestly, part of it was just mental. I dont know what it is about March, but I have just had a hard time staying motivated. Blah.
But, you're right. We are too close to summer now to give up!!!! My hopes for this summer are to wear shorts without shame and tanks tops without feeling all floppy. Only 9 more weeks until school is out down here. Then there will be daily demands to go to the pool or the playground or wherever. I so wanna look good this summer!! (It has been sooooo long since I have)
Ok ...Cabana and everyone ....I am relying on you guys to keep me motivated!!!! We can do it!
Started off today pretty well. Walked on my treadmill for an hour (and yes, it was hard! after so many days off of it). I have had 51 oz. of water so far today!! Now, here is the tricky part........dinner. Already made dinner for tonight (how productive of me huh?) and its a pasta dish. A really really fattening pasta dish, but its ok for everyone else in the family to eat. Just not me. So...my real test today will be to keep my dinner light. Maybe a bite of pasta, and then a nice huge salad.
I already have the makings for a good salad with my favorite low cal dressing.
Its so hard sometimes to cook for a family, and not be able to eat what they eat. But......I am determined. I would much rather feel happy in my shorts and tank tops this summer than feel stuffed from eating.
Hope everyone is having a great start to their week! Had to have my tire fixed this morning after running over a nail.....grrrrr.... I have had enough with the car problems (first, the air conditioner goes out and is still out. then there was the whole skunk fiasco. and now a flat tire --- do bad things come in three's as well? cause if so...i should be done!)
