Obviously... it's taking me longer than most of you, (you know since I'm a girl & all..lol)

but I'm up to 440!!

The last 60 will be a piece of cake now.. hahahaha
 
did 150 in morning and 250 in afternoon and will do 100 this evening...

So there, 500 squats. Challenge accomplished (or will be soon)
 
500. Beach was great and the challenge was a winner. I'll see how I feel this weekend, but right now I'm fine. Whatz next?

I was flying all day yesterday and didn't learn of this until late yesterday, but I'm in! I'm doing the overhead version (aka deep knee bends) with thighs down to parallel to ground.

I need 20 sets of 25.

As of 11:30am ET: 75 down

Done! That took me over 1 day. I don't know how you youngsters finished these so fast.

BTW, mine were with my arms raised, thigh down to horizontal.
 
Finished my 500 on Friday night (before getting drunk) :D

Enjoyed it FF, you'll have to come up with something more challenging next though ;)
 
500 squats

FF you are right on the money with the two days later results. My hammies are sooo tight I'm walking like a robot. I rested this weekend but I should have taken a bike ride to loosen up. I am going to continue working all the squat exercises done by the group and try for better form and deeper bends. I'm ready for some insane plank challenge. Today is my first day following the 100 pushup program. 4 sets of 14-18 pushups followed by 5th set max reps (program says at least 20 but I'm hoping for 40-50). I'm starting on the third week because of my initial test of 50. 500 pushups in 24 hrs sounds like a challenge for the group. Sept 3rd is my goal for 100 consecutive pushups. Plenty of time for anyone else to train for this challenge. I guess I'm challenging everyone. Come on Neon after reading your journal entries you're my hero. SportsgalTX step up to the plate and sweat.

With those pushups, make sure and do some counter work with rows and trap work. Also stretch your chest and stretch your lats alot.

with major chest focus we can end up with forward shoulders and bad posture. It has taken me the last year to fix mine.
