Well, I guess that first week ended yesterday? How did you guys do?

My week started well but work got in the way. But I still managed to collect all the stripes, even the bonus stripes.

On Thursday at 10am, I got a call at work saying that I was to be a designated officer for the family of a guy of our unit who got severely injured in Afghanistan (I'm in the military). His family was in a small town 3 hours away from home. On Thursday, I worked from 7 am to 4:30 am (at least PT was done before that crazy shift). On Friday, I woke up at 7am (2:30 of sleep...)and worked until 11pm. And then, I thought about everyone here and and went for a 45-minute power walk (done before midnight!!). I was exhausted, but it felt good taking some fresh air and focusing on something else. Same schedule for Saturday.... Yesterday, I got back home early and went for a run.

I ate for 4 days in restaurants and for the first time in my life, I had healthy choices and asked for salad instead of fries. And of course, asked for a pitcher of water each time!!

I just wanted to talk about it because if we get more motivation from this thread like I did last week, We'll be looking so hot for x-mas :)

So for week 1

- I drank at least 8 glasses of water each day
- I exercised each day for at least 45 minutes going from hockey games to power walks
- I lost 3.7 lbs (I'm surprised but happy!!)
- I did the stretching 4 times
So i guess it's 29 stripes?

I hope that everyone did well!! If not, don't worry, there are 11 more weeks !!!

Well, this week I was a bit of a slacker in some ways.
I exercised [atleast]45 minutes everyday.
I lost 3 pounds, which was so amazing.
I only drank water for 6 of the 7 days, but this week will be better!

Which gives me 23 stripes?

I went for a walk too, which was nice.
Hope everyones doing well.
Oh yeah, i forgot that I did the stretching as well, so,

Week 1: 28 stripes

Ok, i have 27 stripes(including the challenge)....missed some of the water...did good on everything else. Now this week it will be alot harder with all the new things...lol

This week really helped me get my drinking water on track.
 
Yes no sugary drinks is this weeks bonus....also we have the healthy eating bonus for the rest of the challenge. I'm having an insane work week but plan on editing the original post to add in the new stuff. Congrats everyone sounds like you are doing great.

Alright, its that time again so!

7 days 45 minutes
7 days water
7 days no sugar drinks
5 days 5 servings fruits/veggies

which means;
14 stripes cardio
7 stripes water
5 stripes no sugar
3 stripes weight loss
10 stripes fruits/veggies

for a total of..

39 stripes

Week 1: 28 stripes
Week2: 39 stripes

Casanova, I think you get 5 points for the no sugar drinks challenge since it's the Bonus.

7 days cardio + water + fruits/veggies + no sugar drinks + lost almost 6 pounds.

14 stripes cardio
7 stripes water
3 stripes weightloss
5 stripes no sugar drinks
14 stripes fruits

total : 43 stripes

I just hope, I'll stay motivated during the whole challenge!!

Hey All....sorry for my absence, my mom popped in for a spur of the moment visit so I have spent the past week entertaining. No weight loss this week but also no gain which is surprising considering how much wine and cheese we had! How are you all doing?

Last's weeks stripe bonus (no sugary drinks) was worth 5 stripes.

This week's stripe bonus (5 stripes) is simply to push yourself extra on two workouts this week. Usually when I run I walk during the uphill portion of my route....this week I am going to try to run through it...wish me luck! :)
 
Hey Party People!

Sorry I was MIA last week. I was house/dog sitting for a friend. I thought she had a working computer, but it turns out that the thing was so riddled with viruses that it wouldn't even load the desktop! It was very humbling to realize how much I depend on technology (the internet especially) to keep me entertained/ informed.

Anyway, here are my results for the past two weeks:

Week 1: 22* stripes
(10 days of ex., 7 of H2O, 5 wk1 bonus)

Week 2: 39* stripes
(10 days of ex., 7 of H2O, 3 for -1 lb., 5 wk2 bonus, 7 fruits/ veggies)
 
This is the perfect stripe bonus, i've been working extra hard the past few days, doing double of things. yay
