Do you have any favorite melancholic songs?

This was the demo version of Damien Rice '9 Crimes'. It also appeared on an episode of True Blood.

It does gives the song a different spin, but both versions are really good.

Here are a couple more songs;

-(Pearl Jam - Last Kiss)-

-(The National - Mistaken for strangers)-

-(Greenday - 21 guns)-

(The following is a cover from AFI's 'God called in sick today')

-(God Called in sick today)-

-(AFI - Silver and cold)-

Couple more;

-(Taking Back Sunday - Your own disaster)-

-(Vertical Horizon - The best I ever had)-

-(Sarah McLachlan - Answer)-

These two are great;

-(Ben Howard - Black Flies)-

-(Oceanship - Hotblack)-

And this is a older song, but it's great, too.

-(Barry Manilow - Lay me down)-

Well... I almost cried with this one.

It's a pretty good song, though.

Already posted the original, but Susan Boyle version is also pretty good; :)
